AEEE 2021 notification will be released by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the last week of November 2020 for admission to 4-year B.Tech Programmes. AEEE 2021 online registration process and selling of OMR application forms will start from November 29th, 2020, and the last date for submitting online application and filled-in OMR application will be March 31st, 2021. AEEE exam will be held in the month of April 2021.

AEEE Notification 2021 Pdf
AEEE stands for Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering is a national level entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed to be University) annually for admissions to the 4-year B.Tech Programmes offered by Amrita Schools of Engineering under the University. Generally, AEEE held in the month of April and the result announces in the month of May.

AEEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for any B.Tech programme under AEEE 2021 should have the following eligibility conditions.
Age Limit
A candidate must be born on or after July 1st, 1999.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate of marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Candidates who appear for the 10+2 (Class XII) examination are also eligible to apply.
AEEE 2021 Application Fee and Mode Of Payment
All the candidates must have to pay a fee of Rs. 1000/- as their AEEE 2021 application fee. Candidates can pay their application fees online by using a credit or debit card or net banking facility.
The application fee can also be paid using DD made in favor of ‘Amrita School of Engineering’, payable at Coimbatore. All the candidates must know that the application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
AEEE 2021 Application Form
To apply for AEEE 2021, eligible candidates should have to go through a registration process. The registration process can be completed by submitting either an online application or by using a printed OMR application. Both processes of registration are given below.
Online Registration Form
To apply online, aspirants should have to visit www.amrita.edu/btech and register with an email ID. The online registration process includes three steps:
Step I – Register
- Provide your basic details such as your name, date of birth, school last studied (12th Class), valid email ID, mobile number, mode of AEEE-2020 examination, test center, etc.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button
- Edit details if required otherwise click ‘I Confirm’ button
Step II – Upload photo & sign
- You need to upload digital copies of your latest PP size photo and signature
- After uploading the images, click ‘Proceed for Payment’ tab
Step III – Payment
- Make the payment of application fee using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. Don’t forget to take a print out of the payment receipt and reference number
- If you want to make payment using DD then you must fill details of DD in the online application. After typing DD details, click the ‘Submit’ tab to complete the registration process
- Now, use Email ID/Application number and Date of birth to print ‘completed application form’
- Send one copy of your printed application form along with the Demand Draft to the below-given address

Offline Registration
Offline registration can be done using printed OMR application. Aspirants can obtain printed OMR application forms from the University counter of any Amrita School after providing a DD of Rs. 1000/- made in favor of ‘Amrita School of Engineering’, payable at Coimbatore.
Candidates can also obtain printed OMR application forms from the local sale outlets like Post Office, -Federal Bank & Dhanlaxmi Bank on payment of Rs. 1000/-. The guidelines for filling printed OMR application form are given in the official notification. Follow them to fill your printed OMR application form. After filling your OMR application form, send it to the same above mentioned address.
AEEE 2021 Exam Pattern
Question paper pattern along with no. of questions, marks are given below:
- AEEE paper will have 3 sections – Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- The question paper has 100 objective type questions (MCQs) for 300 marks
- The exam time duration is 2 ½ hours
- 3 marks awarded for each correct answer and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

AEEE 2021 Exam Dates and Centres
Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) 2021 will be conducted in both online and offline modes. AEEE 2021 Computer Based Test (CBT) is expected to be held on April 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd of 2021, and Pen and Paper (P&P) Test is likely to be held on April 28th, 2021. A candidate can select either P&P or CBT as per his/her choice.
Pen and Paper (P&P) based test will be conducted only in Kerala, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu. But CBT will be conducted in all major cities in India like Port Blair, Anantapur, Guntur, Nellore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Raipur, Rajkot, Surat, Patna, Guwahati, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hisar, Shimla, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Mangalore, Mysore, Indore, Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Thane, Thiruvananthapuram, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kota, Kozhikode, Chennai, Noida, Lucknow, Kanpur, Kolkata, Varanasi, Noida, Agra, Warangal, Hyderabad, etc.
AEEE 2021 Hall Ticket
Few days before the test, candidates can download their hall tickets from University’s official website. The process to download the hall ticket is given below:
- Visit @ www.amrita.edu/btech
- Find and click on the ‘Download AEEE 2021 Hall Ticket’ button
- login into your registered account using your registered email ID/application number and date of birth
- After logging into your account, you will see a tab for downloading the hall ticket
- Click the same tab
- You will see your AEEE 2021 hall ticket
- Print it on the A4 size paper
All the AEEE 2021 aspirants are required to know that without valid hall ticket and one photo ID they will be not allowed to appear for the entrance examination. Candidates should carefully read instructions printed on their hall ticket.
AEEE 2021 Result and Rank List
After few days of AEEE 2021, the University will announce results and publish a rank list on its website on or before May 5th, 2021. Rank List will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the AEEE 2021.
AEEE 2021 Counseling Process
To appear in the counseling, candidates should have to download their counseling call letters by visiting the University’s website. A counseling call letter will be printed with the date, session, and rank number of a candidate. It is expected that counseling will be held in the month of June 2021. The counseling process includes the following things:
