Allahabad University UGAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for any undergraduate course under Allahabad University UGAT 2021 should have to be aware of eligibility conditions. Course-wise eligibility conditions are given below:

For B.A., B.F.A. and B.P.A

Candidates should have passed or appeared in any stream of the 10+2/Intermediate examination from a recognized board like U.P. Board, C.B.S.E., I.S.C. etc.

For B.Sc. (Maths & Biology)

Candidates should have passed or appeared in 10+2/Intermediate examination with Science group from a recognized board

For B.Com.

Candidates should have passed or appeared in 10+2/Intermediate examination with Science or Commerce group from a recognized board

For BA (Music)/B.P.A

Candidates should have passed or appeared in 10+2/Intermediate examination and have Music as one of the subjects or they have passed an equivalent examination in Music from a recognized Institution

For B.Sc. (Home Science)

Only such female candidates who have passed or appeared in 10+2/Intermediate examination with Agriculture/Science/Art group are eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Home Science).

Note: Candidates who have any graduation degree will not be eligible to apply for any of the streams of UGAT-2018.

Application Fee & Mode Of Payment

All the general/OBC candidates should have to pay a fee of Rs. 800/- as their online application form fee. But for SC/ST/PH candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 400/-. All the candidates should have to pay their application fee online by using a credit/debit card or internet banking facility.

Allahabad University UGAT 2021 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

• UGAT 2021 examination will be conducted through both online and offline modes.
• The examination consists of 150 MCQs to be solved in 120 minutes.
• A candidate will get 2 marks for every correct answer.
• For every wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted.

The course-wise examination pattern is given below:

Admission Test for B.A.

There will be a total of 7 subjects out of which a candidate has to select any 3 subjects – History, Logic, Sanskrit, Civics, Economics, Geography, and Urdu. Each selected subject will have 25 MCQs of intermediate level.

Admission Test for B.Sc. (Biology & Mathematics)

• In the Science group, there will be a total of four sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology.
• Each section will have 40 MCQs.
• Candidates of Biology stream have to answer 120 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
• Candidates of Maths group have to answer 120 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

Admission Test for B.F.A.

• Admissions into B.F.A. will be done on the basis of merit in the entrance examination.
• Firstly, there will be a theory test conducted by the University of Allahabad then practical conducted by the Department of Visual Arts. Candidates will be required to appear in both theory and practical tests.
• In theory test, there shall be 150 MCQs on General Awareness of maximum 300 marks to be solved in 120 minutes.
• A practical test will be conducted in the department. It will be divided into two parts- Part A & B.

Admission Test for B.P.A.

• Firstly, there will be a theory test to be conducted by the University of Allahabad then a practical test to be conducted by the Department of music in the department of music.
• The theory test will consist of 150 MCQs of a maximum of 300 marks.
• The total time duration of the test will be 120 minutes.
• In theory test, questions will be based on Music (Tabla, Vocal & Sitar) of the Intermediate level.

Allahabad University UGAT 2021 Admit Card

All the eligible applicants will have to download the Allahabad University UGAT admit cards online from www.allduniv.ac.in. For this, they have to provide their application ID and password. Admit cards will be provided to those candidates whose online application forms are completed in all respects. Admit cards will not be sent to eligible candidates through post or any other mode.

Schedule and Exam Centres

The admission test for each course will be held on different dates. However, exact dates are still not disclosed by the University of Allahabad. It is cleared that all entrance tests under UGAT 2021 will be held in the last week of May 2021. UGAT 2021 will be held in the city of Allahabad along with other important cities of India such as Srinagar, Kolkata, Bangaluru, Patna, Bhopal, New Delhi, Bareilly, Kanpur, Agra, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Gorakhpur.

Counseling

Counseling will start in the last week of June 2021. The University will publish counseling details in local newspapers as well as on its website. Candidates selected in the UGAT will have to attend the counseling to be held in multiple rounds for admission.
