AP ICET 2023 Notification [Exam Date, Apply Online] : AP ICET 2023 Notification will be released on 13th July 2023. The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test popularly known as AP ICET is the apex examination conducted by the Sri Venkateswara University for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) in different institutes.

The AP ICET is conducted for admissions into 369 institutes that are located within the Andhra Pradesh state territory and are done on the behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. AP ICET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates who are interested to give the AP ICET 2023 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

Nationality

• The candidate should be of Indian nationality
• The candidate should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended.

Educational Qualification

• The candidate should have passed at least 3 years’ graduation degree course from an institute recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Percentage Criterion

• The candidates of the open category should have secured an aggregate of 50% in their graduation degree
• For the candidate of the reserved category, the percentage applicable is 45%.

Degree Status

• The degree which has been secured by distance mode of education should have been recognized by the joint committee of the University Grant Commission, All India Council of Technical Education, and Distance Educational Council
• Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.

Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)

• The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years from a government of India recognized institute with Mathematics as a major subject at class 10^th

Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.)

• The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree of 3 years with Mathematics as one of the subjects at intermediate or degree level.

Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.) Lateral Entry

• All candidates having a Bachelor of Computer Application degree or Bachelor of Science degree with computer science or information technology as a major subject.

AP ICET Application Form 2023

The candidate is hereby informed that the application process will start on 15th July 2023. The candidate should submit the application along with the requisite fee on or before 14th August 2023 to avoid late fee charges along with the registration charges. The last date of the application form along with the late fee of Rs.2000/- and Rs.5000/- is 28th August 2023 and 13th Sep 2023 respectively. AP ICET 2023 : How To Apply Online?

Step-1: Registration and Fee Payment

• Open the official website of AP ICET 2023
• Search for the “Fee Payment” link
• Click the tab “Fee Payment”
• A new webpage will open up
• The page contains the instructions and rules to be followed
• The candidate is expected to read the instruction and then click the checkbox of acceptance of the instructions and rules
• A new web page will open
• The candidate is first required to enter his/her name
• The candidate should now enter the qualifying examination hall ticket number
• Enter the date of the birth of the candidate
• Enter the candidate’s mobile number
• Enter candidate’s email id
• Enter the category of the candidate
• Select the payment type according to the candidate’s convenience
• Select the tab “Proceed to Payment”
• A new webpage will open up
• Select the mode of online payment
• Fill in the requisite bank details for the successful completion of the payment
• Click the “Make Payment” tab
• A payment confirmation page will pop up
• Save the details of the page, especially the payment ID

Step-2: Status Of Payment

• Once the payment is successfully completed, click the “Payment Status” tab
• A new window will pop up
• Enter the qualifying exam Hall Ticket number
• Enter the registered mobile number
• Enter the date of birth of the applicant
• Enter the correct captcha
• Click on the “Check payment status” tab
• A new webpage will turn up
• The candidate should validate the payment ID, especially the status of the payment

Step-3: Completion Of Application Form

• Click on the “Fill Application” tab
• Enter the payment reference ID
• Enter the qualifying exam Hall Ticket number
• Enter the date of birth of the candidate
• Click on the “Proceed to fill application form” tab
• A new webpage will open up

• Read the instructions and rules carefully
• Click the check box to accept the instructions and rules
• Click the “Modify/Preview” tab
• The candidate should validate the application form very carefully
• The candidate should now click on the tab “Save/Preview”
• A new window will pop up for some time which contains the registration number

Step-4: Application Form Printout

• After successfully filling the application form, click the “Print Application Form” tab
• Enter the payment Id
• Enter the registration number
• Enter the qualifying exam Hall Ticket number
• Enter the registered mobile number
• Enter the date of birth of the candidate
• Click on the “Get Application Details” tab
• Save the soft copy of the application
• Take a printout of the saved application form

AP ICET Application Fee 2023

The General category applicant has to pay a fee of Rs 650/- along with the application form towards the AP ICET fee and for OBC 600/- and SC/ST is 550/-.

The candidate should remember that if the candidate does not pay the fee within the stipulated time period then they can submit an application with a late fee of Rs 2000/- and Rs. 5000/- till 28th August 2023 and 13th Sep 2023 respectively.

AP ICET Exam Pattern 2023

The AP ICET 2023 will be conducted on 17th & 18th September 2023 in two sessions which are from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

• Section A and Section B will be in the English language as well as in the Telugu language whereas Section C will be in the English language only.
• The AP ICET 2023 will contain 200 questions which will carry 1 mark each.
• There will be no negative marking.

II. Algebraical and Geometrical Ability

Statements, implication converse and inverse, truth tables, trigonometry, polynomials, remainder theorem and consequences, tautologies and applications, linear equations and expressions, progressions, matrices, binomial theorem, plane geometry, the notion of a limit and derivative, coordinate geometry.

III. Statistical Ability

Frequency distributions, mean, mode, median, correlation, standard deviation, simple problems on Probability.

Objectives of the Test :

Candidates will be assessed on the ability to:

1. Identify vocabulary from day-to-day communication.
2. Understand the functional use of grammar in communication and business.

AP ICET Merit List 2023

• Those candidates who have attained a minimum of 25% marks in the AP ICET 2023 will be assigned a rank in the merit list.
• In the case of two or more candidates scoring the same marks, under those circumstances, the marks secured in section A followed by section B will be considered respectively.
• If the tie still persists then the candidate’s age will be taken into consideration with the older person getting the preference.
• There will be normalization of the marks according to the rules and norms of APICET 2023.

Counseling Of AP ICET 2023

After the release of the AP ICET 2023 result, successful candidates will receive the scorecard as well as the rank card from the officials of AP ICET 2023. The counseling will be held for the M.B.A. and M.C.A. admission in the participating institutes of Andhra Pradesh.
