AP Police Constable Exam Pattern

AP Police Constable – Stage I Preliminary Written Test
Candidates who successfully apply to AP Police constable recruitment 2021 will be called for Stage I preliminary written test.
- It will be a single paper having 200 MCQs of 200 marks.
- 100 MCQs will be asked from subjects like General Science, English, Arithmetic, Indian Geography, History, Polity, Economy, etc. There will also a few questions on current events of national/international importance.
- The total time will be 3 hours. It will be qualifying in nature.
- To be passed in the paper, candidates will have to score at least 40% marks for OCs, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs / STs/ex-servicemen.
- Marks of the preliminary written tests will not be counted in the final selection process.

Applicants qualified in Stage I Preliminary written test will have to undergo Physical Measurements Test and should meet the following requirements

Stage III Final Written Examination
Candidates qualified in Stage II PMT / PET will be called for a final written examination. It will be a single paper of 3 hours duration. MCQs will be asked from various subjects/topics such as English, Arithmetic, General Science, History of India, Indian culture, and national Movement, Indian Geography, Polity and Economy, Current events, and Mental ability / Test of Reasoning.

Important Points To Be Remembered For Final Written Exam
- Qualifying marks are 30% for SCs / STs / Ex-servicemen, 35% for BCs and 40% for OCs
- Selection of language for final written exam should be done by candidates at the time of submitting application forms
- final written exam shall have objective type questions only in English, Telugu and Urdu languages only
- To answer MCQs, candidates can use either blue or black ballpoint pen
