The topics of General Science will include the understanding of science and general appreciation in which everyday experience and observation are included. The questions from current events include national as well as international events.
The political, economic, and social aspects will be tested from the history of India. Questions from the Indian National Movement will be related to the resurgence of the 19th century, attainment of independence, and growth of Nationalism.
Geography of India will have importance in the geography section. Emphasis will be on the economic, social, and physical geography of India which will include the natural resources and Indian agricultural system.

APPSC Food Safety Officer 2021 – Selection Procedure
The written examination is conducted for selecting the candidates. The selection will be entirely based on the merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the written examination of Paper I and Paper II of APPSC Food Inspector (Food Safety Officer).
There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark allotted for the question for every wrong answer. Therefore, candidates who are interested in the post of food inspector have to get through the written examination followed by document verification. Marks of written examination will be taken into account for preparing the merit list. The higher the score, the higher will be the chance of getting a post of APPSC Food Safety Officer.
