APPSC Group 1 Results 2021 [Prelim, Main & Interview]

APPSC Group 1 Prelims & Mains Results 2021 : APPSC Group 1 Results 2021 will be released after a few weeks from the date of the exam on the APPSC official website. Candidates who appear in the APPSC Group 1 Prelim exam will be able to check their results. After that, APPSC will organize the main exam and declare the main result.

Candidates who qualify APPSC Group 1 mains exam will be called for an interview to be held after one month of the main examination. Results of the interview to be conducted for 36 vacancies of APPSC Group 1 posts will be released through APPSC’s official website after few days of the interview. As per the latest reports, the commission will release the result of each stage of examination a few weeks after conducting that particular exam successfully, be it prelims, mains, or interview. However, the mode for announcing APPSC results will be the same for each stage of examination i.e. APPSC official website. Results will be displayed by APPSC for the following exams.

APPSC Group 1 Prelim Exam

APPSC Group 1 Prelims exam will be an objective type test having two papers – Paper 1 [General Studies] & Paper 2 [General Aptitude]. Each paper will have 120 MCQs to be solved in 120 minutes. Each MCQ will be of 1 mark. There is also a provision of negative marking in both, Paper 1 & Paper 2 and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Marks of both papers will be taken together to prepare a merit list having names of candidates shortlisted for the mains exam. It is qualifying in nature.

APPSC Group 1 Prelim Result 2021

APPSC Group 1 prelim result 2021 will be released on the website of APPSC. Firstly, the commission conducts a preliminary examination [also known as screening test] for all those candidates who will register for APPSC Group 1 exams 2021. It will be of qualifying in nature and have objective-type questions only.

Few days after the APPSC Group 1 prelim exam, APPSC will display results and prepare a list having roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the main exam.

How To Check APSC Group 1 Prelims Result?

• Open official website
• Enter into ‘Results’ section
• On the ‘Results’ page, search for notice ‘Group-I Services’
• Then click on the link ‘Screening Test Results Qualified for Mains of Group I services’
• A new page will be opened having links to check ‘Group-I Services Screening Test Results (General Recruitment)’
• Firstly, click on the link ‘List of candidates qualified for Group I mains’ to check whether you have qualified or not
• On clicking the said link, a new page will be opened having details of the main written exam and register numbers of those candidates who are qualified for the Main Written (Conventional Type) Examination
• Search for your roll no.
• If you want to check your marks on the Group-I screening test then go back and click on the second link ‘List of candidates appeared for Group-I screening test with marks’
• A PDF file will be opened
• You will see marks of each candidate are written against their roll no.
• Search your roll no. and see your marks

APPSC Group 1 Prelim Cut Off Marks

This year’s prelims exam cut-off marks will be displayed by APPSC after announcing Group 1 Prelims results. However, it is confirmed that this year’s Group 1 Prelims exam cut-off marks will be different and made out of 240 marks. Therefore, predicting this year’s cut-off is almost impossible because in the last Group 1 Prelims exam, cut-off marks were made out of 150 marks. Check cut-off marks of previous prelims exam

APPSC Group 1 Main Exam

On the basis of a merit list to be prepared after considering marks obtained in both papers of the screening test, candidates will be called for Group 1 mains exam. The main exam will be likely conducted in August 2021. It will be a descriptive type test having one compulsory paper [English / Telugu] and 5 other papers [I to V].

Marks of the mains exam will be used for final selection to the posts of Group 1. Details of each paper are given below

• Language paper [marks – 150; medium- either English or Telugu] – It will be of qualifying in nature
• Paper 1 – General Essay [time – 150 minutes; marks – 150; medium- either English or Telugu]
• Paper 2 – History, Culture, and Geography of India and Andhra Pradesh [time – 150 minutes; marks – 150; medium- either English or Telugu]
• Paper 3 – Polity, Constitution, Governance, Law and Ethics [time – 150 minutes; marks – 150; medium- either English or Telugu]
• Paper 4 – Economy and Development of India and Andhra Pradesh [time – 150 minutes; marks – 150; medium- either English or Telugu]
• Paper 5 – Science and Technology [time – 150 minutes; marks – 150; medium- either English or Telugu]

APPSC Group 1 Main Result 2021

APPSC Group 1 Main result will be displayed by APPSC after one month from the date of the exam. APPSC results of the main exam will be disclosed through APPSC official website.

Candidates shortlisted in the prelims exam will be called to appear for the main examination. It will have a total of six compulsory papers. The main written examination will be a Conventional Type test. Marks obtained by candidates in the written main exam will be used for the final selection of the posts.

How To Check APPSC Group 1 Main Exam Result?

• Open APPSC official website
• Click on tab ‘Results’
• On the ‘Results’ page, search for notice ‘Group-I Services’
• Under ‘Group-I Services’ notice, find and click on ‘Result Notification provisionally qualified for Oral Test (Interview) to Group – I Services’
• A new page will be opened having three links
• Click on link 1 ‘Result Notification’
• A PDF will be opened having ‘Register Numbers’ of those candidates who are provisionally qualified for Interview
• Search your ‘Register Number’
• Go back to the Group 1 mains result page to know interview dates
• The final list of qualified candidates for interview will be updated a few days later; once the final list is uploaded, candidates can check it by following the same procedure as mentioned here
• Not qualified candidates can also check marks obtained by them by clicking on the relevant link a few days after the main exam result

APPSC Group 1 Mains Cut Off Marks

Group 1 Mains exam cut-off marks will be disclosed with the announcement of mains exam results. Cut-off marks will be prepared after combining marks of all papers [Paper I to V]. On the basis of previous years’ mains results records, we have predicted this year’s mains exam General category cut-off marks. We will update category wise cut off marks after the examination. APPSC Group 1 Interview

Candidates who score minimum or above cut-off marks in the Main exam will be further called for document verification and personal interview. PI will be conducted for 75 marks. Marks obtained by candidates in PI will be used in the final selection process.

APPSC Group 1 Final Selection

Final selection to the posts of APPSC Group 1 will be made through an order of merit to be found in the final merit list. The final merit list will be prepared after combining scores of the Main exam and interview.

APPSC Group 1 Final Results 2021 [Interview]

APPSC Group 1 interview is also known as an oral test. After the written examination, eligible candidates will be called for an Interview to be conducted for 75 marks. Marks of the written Main exam and oral test will be taken together for the selection of the posts.

APPSC Group 1 Final Cut Off Marks

Final cut-off marks will be prepared after combining marks of the Mains exam and interview. Final cut-off marks will be used for selection to the posts of APPSC Group 1. This year’s final cut-off marks are expected to be disclosed by the commission with the announcement of results for the interview. But on the basis of the previous year’s final cut-off marks, we can predict this year’s APPSC Group 1 final cut-off marks.

APPSC Group 1 Document Verification

Before admitting to the interview, candidates will have to produce original documents for verification. In case, if a candidate fails to do so then s/he will not be permitted to take the interview. Verification of certificates and oral tests will be held at the office of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. The following original certificates along with 1 set of photocopies of the same to be produced
