APPSC Group 3 Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates are recommended to ensure that they meet the eligibility prescribed by APPSC for Panchayat Secretary posts in order to apply and appear in Group 3 examination.
APPSC Group 3 – Age Limit & Relaxation
As of 1st July 2021, a candidate must be 18 years old but should not have an age more than 42 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to special categories. Further details regarding the same are given below in a table:

Educational Qualifications
A candidate must pass a bachelor’s course in any discipline from any recognized Indian University or Institution. The candidate’s bachelor’s degree should be from an Institution/College recognized by the University Grants Commission (also known as UGC).
Other Conditions
- Candidate should be free from any physical defect; must possess sound health
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen
- Candidate’s antecedents and character are such as to qualify him/her for such a job
APPSC Group 3 Application Fee 2021 & Mode Of Payment
All the general candidates should have to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- as their application processing fee and Rs. 80 towards their examination fee. Un-employed youth as per G.O., a member of the family having AP Government-issued household supply white card and candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men categories need to pay only Rs. 250/- towards application processing fee. They are exempted from payment of examination fees.
PH persons & ex-servicemen hailing from other states are also exempted from payment of examination fee. However, candidates of the rest categories hailing from other states will have to pay both application processing and examination fee i.e. Rs. 250/- + Rs. 80/- = Rs. 330/-

All the candidates can pay their requisite fee through an online payment gateway or debit card/credit card or net banking. All the interested candidates are required to know that the fee once paid will not be refunded to them under any circumstances. Demand drafts/IPOs will not be accepted.
Candidates can opt for correction facilities to edit the submitted application form; however, they’ll have to pay Rs. 100/- per correction. Correction facility will not be available for the name, fee, and age relaxation.

How To Apply For APPSC Group 3 [Panchayat Secretary] 2021
For submitting an online application for the post of Panchayat Secretary Grade IV, first candidates will have to go through one time profile registration (OTPR) process available on APPSC official website www.psc.ap.gov.in.
One-time profile registration (OTPR) Is a mandatory process for each applicant who wants to apply for notifications conducted by APPSC. An applicant should register by giving exact information. After successful registration, candidates will be able to fill the rest of the application form.

APPSC Group 3 Selection Process 2021
The shortlisting of candidates for the Panchayat Secretary posts shall be based on merit in the computer-based examination. Candidates who obtained minimum qualifying marks will be considered for the final selection. Category wise minimum qualifying marks are as follows

- 35% for BCs

APPSC Group 3 Screening Test
Candidates who apply for the post of Panchayat Secretary (Grade-IV) will be eligible for a screening test to be conducted in offline mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number. The test will have 150 objective-type questions equally distributed in two parts – Part A and Part B.
Both Parts will have 75 MCQs to be solved in 150 minutes (75 minutes to solve each section). Each MCQ in the Screening test shall be of 1 mark. The maximum marks will be 150.

APPSC Group 3 Mains Examination
Candidates who qualify screening test will be called to write the Main Examination. The Main exam will be held in online mode. The main examination will include 2 papers (Paper 1 & 2) having objective-type questions only. Each paper will have 150 MCQs of 150 maximum marks. Candidates will get 150 minutes to solve each paper.

Few days before the date of the screening test, APPSC will upload call letters on its official website. To get a hall ticket for the screening test, a candidate should have to pay a visit to APPSC’s official website. After uploading a call letter on the website, the AP PSC will inform candidates by sending them a mail or SMS.

APPSC will announce the AP Group 3 prelim exam result after a month of examination date on its official site and there will be 3 months’ time between prelims and main examination.
