APPSC Group 4 Scheme Of Examination
The APPSC written examination for Group IV recruitment is an objective-type test. Here is the table to show the scheme of the written test that is conducted in the intermediate standard:

The questions for these papers will be at the intermediate level syllabus in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Not just intermediate standard, for some Group IV positions, the test is conducted in SSC Standard as well. Here is the table to show the pattern of the SSC standard test:

Candidates, who have applied for APPSC Group IV, will have to appear for both papers of the written test compulsorily. Based on the position to which they apply, they will have to take either the intermediate or SSC standard test.
The minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be specified by the convening authority on the official website. This minimum qualifying mark is relaxable at the discretion of the district selection committee or the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
APPSC Group 4 Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test for Group IV recruitment. However, candidates shortlisted from the written test will have to get through the document verification, which is the next step in the recruitment process.
The shortlisted candidates from the written test that will be conducted in the format above will have to produce attested copies of required certificates and they should also bring their original documents at the time of document verification. They will have to produce any other particulars demanded at the time of document verification.
In case the details furnished by a candidate in the application do not go with the original documents that he/she produces during the document verification stage, the candidature will be rejected by APPSC. The District Collectors in the state are responsible for the document verification process for the candidates, who have applied for Group IV positions in the appropriate districts. The district collectors are also responsible for preparing the merit list. They will do the same based on the communal Roster.
So, the selection process comprises both the written test and document verification. Further, the appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness. They will also have to get through the medical examination in the appropriate medical classification. He/she should be free from any infirmity, bodily defects. The candidate should have sound health and active habits.
