Applicants of the following categories will be eligible for BOI SO recruitment 2021

To apply for Bank of India SO recruitment 2021, candidates will need to follow the three step procedure as mentioned below.
Step I – Registration

- BOI SO Exam will be conducted in online mode
- The exam will consist of Objective type MCQs
- Questions will be divided into 3 sections, each for 50 marks
- Candidates will get 2 hours to answer all the questions in all three sections
- All the questions will be bilingual, i.e. in Hindi and English, except for the English Language section
- English Language section will be qualifying in nature
- Marks scored in the English Language section will not be included in the merit list
- Penalty for wrong answers will be there in the Bank of India SO exam
- For every incorrect answer, 1/4th marks assigned to that question will be deducted
- No marks will be deducted for any unanswered question

BOI SO Selection Process 2021
Bank of India will make a selection of suitable candidates by conducting a two-step selection process.
Online Exam
All the candidates who successfully apply for the Bank of India SO recruitment process will be called for the online exam which will be conducted for 150 marks. After conducting the online exam, the Bank of India will prepare a merit list on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Financial Management and General Awareness sections of the question paper.
Interview / Document Verification
Candidates who get shortlisted after the online exam will be called to appear for an Interview and document verification. BOI SO Interview will be conducted for 100 marks and the minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for the unreserved category candidates and 35% for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates. Along with the Interview, the Bank of India will also conduct the document verification process, so the candidates appearing for the interview will have to bring their original documents as well as photocopies of the same with them.
Final Selection
- After completing the interview, the Bank of India will prepare and publish the final merit list on its official website
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of cut off marks determined by the bank
- To prepare the merit list, the Bank of India will consider aggregate marks scored in the online exam (except for the English Language section) and interview
- The weightage of marks scored in the online exam will be 80 and the weightage of the interview will be 20
- Those who get placed in the final merit list will be appointed on the post of Bank of India SO
BOI SO Admit Card 2021
Bank of India will issue a call letter for BOI SO 2021 at least one week before the exam and interview on its official website. Candidates have to download their call letter from the website using the registration number and password as BOI will not provide the same through any other means. Bank will also notify the candidates about the call letter release date by sending them an intimation message on their registered mobile number and email id.

Candidates who get selected for the BOI SO will have to make a security deposit of Rs. 1,00,000/- which will be refunded after 3 years of satisfactory service.
