DRDO Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ (STA ‘B’) 2021 Eligibility criteria
Nationality
The applicant should be a citizen of India.
Age Limit (As on 29th August 2021)
Applicant should be at least 18 years old but not have attained 28 years of age. However, the maximum age limit is relaxable for Central Govt. Civilian Employees, ESM, PwD, OBC, ST, SC, persons who lived in J&K state during the period from 1st of Jan 1981 to 31st of Dec 1990 and Disabled Defence Services Personnel as per the rules of Government of India.
Essential Qualification Requirement
Applicant must have done graduation in Science or obtained a diploma in computer science or technology or engineering or allied subjects in the needed discipline. Applicants waiting for the result as on 29th August 2021 are not eligible. B.Tech. or M.Sc. or B.E. candidates shall not be considered for recruitment. DRDO STA ‘B’ Recruitment 2021 Application Fee & Mode Of Payment
According to the rules of the Government of India, SC/ST/PWD/ESM candidates and all women are exempted from payment of application fee. Other candidates will have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs. 100/- towards application fee through credit card/debit card /net banking.

The online webpage for submission of applications will be opened on 04 August 2021 and will close on 29 August 2021 (05:00 PM). Online applications will not be accepted after the last date. So, aspirants are requested to attempt online applications as early as possible to avoid the last-minute rush. The application process is explained below

- After going through online registration, you will get a ‘User ID’ & ‘Password’
- Use your ‘User ID’ & ‘Password’ to login
- After login, fill in the rest details of your online application
- Make payment (if you are eligible)
- Submit all the details
- Print your online application
DRDO STA ‘B’ Recruitment 2021 Selection Process
The entire selection procedure will consist of Tier I & II examinations and preliminary document verification. Both Tier I & II examinations will be conducted online i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT). Both CBTs will have objective type questions either in Hindi or English.
Tier – I
It will be for screening only. This test will be common to all the posts. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 35% for ST / SC candidates and 40% for UR/OBC candidates.

However, the exact date of the Tier-I examination is still not disclosed by CEPTAM.
Tier II
Candidates qualified in Tier-I will be called for the Tier-II examination. After the Tier-II examination, CEPTAM will prepare a merit list and shortlist candidates for provisional selection and preliminary document verification.
Tier-II examination will be a subject-specific test. It will have 100 MCQs from a subject for which a candidate has applied. Maximum marks will be 100 and the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
DRDO STA ‘B’ 2021 Admit card (for Both Tier I & Tier II Examination)
CEPTAM will not send admit card by post. Admit cards will be available to download on DRDO’s website before 2 weeks of examination. The time & venue of the examination, the date will be given on the admit card. The process to download is explained below.
