DSSSB Recruitment Notification & Vacancies
Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board will release a vacancy notice for the post of Teacher (Primary) under MCD.

According to the official vacancy notice, the total number of vacancies is 4366. Out of which, 1620 vacancies will be for general (unreserved) category candidates, 1286 for OBC, 714 for SC, 756 for ST, and 474 for PH. However, all these vacancies are provisional and liable to vary.
DSSSB Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria (As on July 30th, 2021)
The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Other eligibility criteria such as age limit & relaxation, educational qualification, etc. are as under:
Age Limit & Relaxation
The applicant should not exceed 30 years of age. However, as per the instructions/orders issued by the Govt. of India, age relaxations will be given to only reserved category candidates as under:

Educational Qualification
Applicant must have passed or qualified,
- Intermediate (10+2) or Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination from a reputed / recognized institution / board.
- English as a compulsory subject at high school or intermediate level
- Hindi as a compulsory subject at Secondary level
- Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
- Bachelor of elementary education or 2 years’ certificate/diploma course in Junior Basic Training / Elementary Teacher education Course or equivalent from a recognized institution
DSSSB Recruitment 2021 Application Fee
Female applicants& applicants belonging to Ex-serviceman, Physically Handicapped, Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe categories are exempted from paying the application fee. However, rest candidates (male candidates of OBC & general categories) are required to pay an amount of Rs. 100/- towards application fee.
Applicants should pay the application fees online only by using SBI e-pay service. Fees paid in other modes will be rejected. Fee once paid will not be refunded or transferred under any circumstances.
DSSSB Recruitment 2021 Application Form & Process
As per official advertisement, application forms for the post of Teacher (Primary) under MCD will be available from July 2nd, 2021 on the website dsssbonline.nic.in. The last date for online application submission is July 30th, 2021. Application forms submitted through any other mode would not be accepted by the officials.
How To Apply Online?
- Open DSSSB’s application submission portal
- On the homepage, you will see a notice for DSSSB Teacher (Primary) recruitment 2021 under ‘Current Vacancies’ section
- Select the respective post and read all the details
- Now, click on ‘Click for New Registration’ tab
- You will see a new page having a registration form for new users
- Fill and submit all the details carefully
- Upload scanned copies of asked documents in the prescribed format
- Finally, click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- You will get a registration ID
- Now you are a registered user
- Go to Sign In section
- Enter your Registration no. / select date of birth & year of passing 10th examinations
- Enter password
- Type the visual code
- Click on ‘Sign In’ tab
- After login, fill and submit rest details in your online application
- Pay the application submission fee
- Take a printout of e-receipt and application form
DSSSB Recruitment 2021 Admit Card
As per the latest reports, DSSSB Teacher admit cards for one tier examination shall be available to download from 10 days before the date of examination. However, the exact date of the release of admit cards is still not known. Once admit cards issued, registered candidates can download it from the website of DSSSB. The process is given below:
- Open DSSSB’s online portal
- Search for ‘latest notifications’ section
- Find and click on admit card downloading notice
- Type and submit the required details such as registration no., password, etc
- You will see your admit card
- Download it on the A4 size paper
- Read all the instructions printed on your admit card
Note:- All the candidates are required to bring admit cards along with their Aadhaar Card to the examination center. Without admit &Aadhaar Card, a candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
DSSSB Teacher (Primary) Recruitment 2021 Exam Date & Centres
The exact date of one tier examination for the post of Teacher (Primary) under MCD is yet to be released. But on the basis of available information, we can say that examination for DSSSB Teacher (Primary) recruitment 2021 is expected to be held in the month of September 2021 at various centers in Delhi only. According to official vacancy notice, there will be no examination center outside Delhi or in any other state.
DSSSB Teacher 2021 Exam Scheme & Selection
- The final selection of candidates for the post of Teacher (Primary) under MCD shall be done through a one-tier examination.
- It will be an online objective type test having a total of 200 MCQs of a maximum of 200 marks.
- There will be two sections- Section A & Section B. Each section will have 100 MCQs. All the MCQs will be bilingual i.e. in both languages- English & Hindi.
- A total of 120 minutes shall be given to examinee to solve both, sections A & B.

DSSSB Teacher (Primary) Recruitment 2021 Result
DSSSB Teacher result 2021 date will be notified in due course. The Board will release a single tier examination result on its official website after one month of examination. The process to check the result is given below:

- Type and submit the asked details such as registration no. / roll no., date of birth, etc
- Your result will be displayed in a few seconds
- Check your marks/scores and print it on A4 size paper by clicking ‘Print’ link

Final selected candidates shall get a salary of Rs. 35400/- as per pay matrix(Revised) (PB-2,Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4200/).
