1. Haryana Police Constable Recruitment
Haryana Police Constable official notification has been released to fill the vacant posts of Constables in their departments. All eligible candidates will be able to apply online @ www.hssc.gov.in/.
Haryana Constable selection process will include Knowledge Test (objective type) of 100 questions carrying 80 marks from Current Affairs, General Science, General studies, Mental Aptitude, General Reasoning, Agriculture, Numerical Ability, Animal Husbandry and Computer to be completed in 90 minutes. The paper will be in Hindi except for English test.
The contenders who will have qualified in the Knowledge Test have to attend a Physical Screening Test comprising a race for both males and females separately. For males the race will entail 2.5 km run in 12 minutes. For females it will be a 6 minute run for a km.
The candidates qualified in the Physical Screening Test will have to go through a Physical Measurement Test as per standards prescribed for the selection process. Physical Measurement Test conditions are – for males the height measurement should be 170 cm for General category, 168 cm for reserved category. Chest measurement for General category males should be 83 cm (unexpanded) to 87 cm (expanded). For reserved category males, it should be 81 cm (unexpanded) and 85 cm (expanded). For females, the height should be 158 cm for General category and 156 cm for reserved category.
Candidates who are shortlisted after Physical Measurement Test will be called for document verification and additional marks will be allotted for additional qualification and for following cases.
- Neither the applicant nor his/her family members were a regular employee in any of the Haryana state or any other state department or board or company or commission or organization.
- The applicant is a widow or, is the first or second child whose father died before reaching 42 years or, the first and second child and applicant’s father died before the applicant’s attaining 15 years.
- The applicant belongs to Vimukt Jatis or Tapriwas Jatis or other state nomadic tribes.
- The applicant has been an ad hoc or contract employee.
Not more than 10 marks will be allotted in any of the cases from i. to iv. The final merit list will be prepared after document verification for selected candidates.

2. Haryana Sub Inspector Recruitment
Haryana Police has released an official notification to fill the vacant post of Sub Inspector in their divisions. All the eligible candidates will need to fulfil eligibility criteria in order to appear for the tests, qualify and get selected.
The selection process will comprise a Knowledge Test from various subjects, viz. General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Computer. The paper will have 100 questions of 80 marks for 90 minutes’ duration. Having qualified in Knowledge Test would denote candidates reaching the next stage of Physical Screening Test. In this test, male applicants will have to cover 2.5 km in 12 minutes while the females will need to cover a km in 6 minutes.
All the candidates who pass the Physical Screening Test will be put to Physical Measurement Test where the height requirement of General category male entrants must be 170 cm and for reserved category entrants should be 168 cm. The chest must be 83 cm unexpanded for General category males and for reserved category males 81 cm. After having qualified Physical Measurement Test, the applicants will be asked to come for document verification.
Additional qualification would entail additional marks. Furthermore marks will be allotted on the following cases.
