Age Limit & Relaxation
There are no age restrictions to apply for the HP TET 2021. However, age criteria as per R&P rules will be considered at the time of final appointment of candidates.

Note: Applicants belonging to PHH / OBC / ST / SC categories of Himachal Pradesh will be eligible for relaxation up to 5% in minimum qualifying marks for TET & essential educational qualification.
HP TET 2021 Application Fees & Mode Of Payment
Applicants belonging to PHH / ST / SC / OBC categories are required to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- towards application fees. However, candidates belonging to General and other categories (except PHH / ST / SC / OBC) are required to pay an amount of Rs. 800/- towards application fees. All the applicants should have to pay applicable service charges/tax (if any) along with application fees.
All the applicants can pay their application fees through a debit or credit card or net banking. Payment submitted in cash or D.D. or postal order will not be accepted.

- A new page will be opened having ‘Important Instructions / Guidelines to the candidates’
- Before proceeding, read all the instructions and prospectus (link to download prospectus is available on the same page)
- After reading instructions and prospectus, now read & accept ‘Terms & Conditions’
- Since you are a new user on HP BOSE’s website, therefore, click on the ‘Register’ tab
- A new page having ‘Online Application Form for TET – 2021’ will be opened
- Enter all the details such as ‘Aadhaar No.’, & ‘Subject’, ‘Name of the candidate’, ‘father’s / mother’s name’, ‘email ID’, ‘mailing & permanent address’ etc.
- Recheck all the details and make the correction (if required)
- Click on the ‘Save’ tab
- Upload scanned files of your latest photo & signature in JPG format

HP TET 2021 Exam Pattern (common for all teaching categories)
- 1 question paper having 150 MCQs, each of 1 mark, to be solved in 150 minutes
- Mode of the examination will be offline i.e. OMR based test
- No negative marking
- Minimum qualifying marks will be 60%
- MCQs in all the papers (except for Shastri, Urdu & Punjabi) will be set in Hindi & English
- MCQs in question paper for Shastri TET will be partly in Hindi & partly in Sanskrit
- MCQs in question paper for Urdu & Punjabi TET will be in Urdu, Punjabi & English only

HP TET 2021 Admit Card
HP TET Admit card shall be issued online through the website @www.hpbose.org from few days before the examination. Candidates can download the admit card by using their online application no. & date of birth. Admit card will be printed with candidate’s name, photograph, signature, roll no., test date, name & address of examination centre with PIN code etc.
HP TET 2021 Result
HP TET 2021 result is expected to be declared in the month of November / December 2021. Once result declared, candidates can check on the Board’s website.
