HP TET 2018 Apply Online, Application Form :

HP TET is also known as Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. HP TET 2018 is organized by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education. HP TET 2018 examinations will be conducted from 2nd to 9th of September 2018 for TGTs (Shastri, Non-medical, Arts, Medical, J.B.T., L.T., Urdu & Punjabi) at several examination centres located across the state.

Interested aspirants can apply online through the website www.hpbose.org. The last date for submission of online application & fees through payment gateway is 6th of August 2018 up to 11:59 PM. But before attempting online application for HP TET 2018, they are needed to know few important things such as date of release of official notification, important dates, eligibility, schedule of examination, mode & method of submission of online application form, fee, admit card, pattern & structure of test, validity, examination centre, announcement of result etc.

Age limit & relaxations

There are no age restrictions to apply for the HP TET 2018. However, age criteria as per R&P rules will be considered at the time of final appointment of candidates.

Note: Applicants belonging to PHH / OBC / ST / SC categories of Himachal Pradesh will be eligible for relaxation up to 5% in minimum qualifying marks for TET & essential educational qualification.

HP TET 2018 Application Fees & Mode Of Payment

Applicants belonging to PHH / ST / SC / OBC categories are required to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- towards application fees. However candidates belonging to general and other categories (except PHH / ST / SC / OBC) are required to pay an amount of Rs. 800/- towards application fees. All the applicants should have to pay applicable service charges / tax (if any) along with application fees.

All the applicants can pay their application fees through a debit or credit card or net banking. Payment submitted in cash or D.D. or postal order will not be accepted.

HP TET 2018 Application Form & Process

Government job aspirants must apply to HP TET 2018. It would be a great opportunity for them. To apply, aspirants need to visit HP BOSE’s website. Further steps to fill up online application are given below:

  • Open HP BOSE’s official website
  • Find and click on ‘TET – 2018’ tab
  • A new page will be opened having ‘Important Instructions / Guidelines to the candidates’
  • Before proceeding, read all the instructions and prospectus (link to download prospectus is available on the same page)
  • After reading instructions and prospectus, now read & accept ‘Terms & Conditions’
  • Since you are a new user on HP BOSE’s website therefore click on ‘Register’ tab
  • A new page having ‘Online Application Form for TET – 2018’ will be opened
  • Enter all the details such as ‘Aadhaar No.’, & ‘Subject’, ‘Name of the candidate’, ‘father’s / mother’s name’, ‘email ID’, ‘mailing & permanent address’ etc.
  • Recheck all the details and make correction (if required)
  • Click on ‘Save’ tab
  • Upload scanned files of your latest photo & signature in JPG format
  • Proceed further for the payment of fees
  • Take print out of confirmation page

HP TET 2018 Exam Pattern (common for all teaching categories)

  • 1 question paper having 150 MCQs, each of 1 mark, to be solved in 150 minutes
  • Mode of examination will be offline i.e. OMR based test
  • No negative marking
  • Minimum qualifying marks will be 60%
  • MCQs in all the papers (except for Shastri, Urdu & Punjabi) will be set in Hindi & English
  • MCQs in question paper for Shastri TET will be partly in Hindi & partly in Sanskrit
  • MCQs in question paper for Urdu & Punjabi TET will be in Urdu, Punjabi & English only

Validity

Candidates who will qualify HP TET 2018 will get a certificate with 7 years’ validity from the date of issuance.

HP TET 2018 Admit Card

Admit card shall be issued online through the website www.hpbose.org from few days before examination. Candidates can download their admit card by using their online application no. & date of birth. Admit card will be printed with candidate’s name, photograph, signature, roll no., test date, name & address of examination centre with PIN code etc.

HP TET 2018 Result

HP TET 2018 result is expected to be declared in the month of November / December 2018. Once result declared, candidates can check on Board’s website.
