HSSC Police Constable and SI 2021 Recruitment [Apply Online, Exam Date, Syllabus] : Haryana Constable GD 2021 official notification has been released on 30th Dec 2020 to recruit 7298 vacancy posts of Group C Constable in the state of Haryana police department.   • The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) invites online applications for HSSC Constable (GD) 2021 on its web portal from 11th Jan 2021.

HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

For the post of constable, a candidate should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 25 years of age and for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI), a candidate should be 21 years old but not more than 27 years. The age limit for both posts will be considered as of April 1st, 2021.

Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be applicable for the candidates belonging to reserved categories. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Essential Education Qualification

If you are interested to apply for a constable post, then you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized central or state board. On the other hand, if you will apply for a Sub-inspector post then you must have passed graduation from any recognized university or its equivalent.

For both posts, Hindi/Sanskrit up to class 10th or above is a must. In addition to this, you are also required to know that this minimum educational qualification will be applicable for all the candidates belonging to any category.

Minimum Physical Measurement

Along with the age limit and minimum educational qualification, there will be also some physical parameters that need to be met. These are of qualifying nature and applicable for both Haryana Police Constable & SI posts.

Note- In the case of Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, Ex-serviceman & backward classes category, relaxation in physical standard to the extent of 1 inch in the chest and 1 inch in height measurement shall be given.

If applicable for the payment of a fee for Haryana Police Constable/ SI, candidates should have to pay their fee in either online or offline mode. They can deposit their fee through Net banking or e-Challan in any branch of IDBI Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of Patiala, and State Bank of India, etc.

To apply for HSSC Constable (GD) & SI 2021, candidates will need to register themselves through the online registration process. All the interested candidates should know that only the online application form along with the applicable fee will be accepted by HSSC. HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Haryana Police Constable and SI exam will be an online knowledge test having 100 MCQs of a total of 80 marks to be completed in a maximum of 90 minutes. The question paper will be divided into several sections. The name of each section with the syllabus is given below:

Reasoning Ability
This section will have MCQs on the following topics: Analogies, Relationship Concepts, Similarities & Differences, Arithmetical Reasoning, Problem-Solving, Verbal & Figure Classification, Directions, Analysis & Judgment, Discrimination, Arithmetical Number Series, Decision-Making, Space Visualization, Coding-Decoding, Figural Series, Visual Memory and Data Sufficiency etc.

Numerical Ability
This section will have MCQs on the following topics: Decimals & Fraction, Profit and Loss, GCF & LCM, Mensuration, Simple & Compound Interest, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Square roots, Discount, Average, Simplification, Number System, Partnership, Time and Work, Use of Tables and Graphs, Time and Distance, Miscellaneous etc.

Agriculture section
This section will have MCQs on the following topics: Fundamentals of Livestock & Poultry Production, Irrigation & Weed Management, Soils and their management, Principles of Agronomy & Agricultural Meteorology, Microbiology, Entomology, Nursery Technology, Propagation methods in Horticultural crops, Spices, Plantation, Medicinal plants, and Floriculture

HSSC Police Constable & SI Selection Process

Haryana Police Constable and SI process of selection have 4 stages:

  • Written Test
  • Physical efficiency
  • Medical Fitness
  • Document Verification

A candidate has to score high marks in each stage to move to the next stage during the selection process.

Additional Qualification (10% Weightage)

For Constable Post – 4 extra marks will be given to a candidate having a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 3 marks more will be given, if s/he also has a Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

For Sub-Inspector Post – 4 extra marks will be given to a candidate having a graduation degree in any discipline of duration 4 years or more from a recognized university. 3 marks more will be given if s/he also has a Post Graduate degree in any of the following disciplines- Police Science, Criminology, Forensic Science, Forensic Medicine, Computer Engineering/Science, and Law.  PG degree should be obtained from a recognized university.

NCC Certificate – The candidates having NCC documents of A, B, or C level shall get 1, 2, and 3 marks respectively. This additional qualification will be applicable for both constables and Sub-inspector posts.

HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Admit Card

Candidates can download their Haryana Police Constable and SI admit card 2021 online from the official website www.hssc.gov.in and they are required to carry the Admit Card with a valid ID proof on the day of the exam. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) releases the admit card on the official website 10 to 15 days before the exams.

  • Enter required details
  • Submit to get admit card, check the details, and save/print the admit card.

HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Results

The final result will be announced and published on the HSSC’s official website after 2-3 months from the date of examination. The exact result declaration date will be disclosed by HSSC very shortly.

HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Cut Off Marks

The cut-off marks depend on various factors like the difficulty level of the exam paper, the number of students appearing for the examination, the number of vacancies, etc. The cut-off marks are yet to be released, however, it is important to note that there will be a different cutoff for each stage of the examination.
