HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
For the post of constable, a candidate should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 25 years of age and for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI), a candidate should be 21 years old but not more than 27 years. The age limit for both posts will be considered as of April 1st, 2021.
Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be applicable for the candidates belonging to reserved categories. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Essential Education Qualification
If you are interested to apply for a constable post, then you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized central or state board. On the other hand, if you will apply for a Sub-inspector post then you must have passed graduation from any recognized university or its equivalent.
For both posts, Hindi/Sanskrit up to class 10th or above is a must. In addition to this, you are also required to know that this minimum educational qualification will be applicable for all the candidates belonging to any category.
Minimum Physical Measurement
Along with the age limit and minimum educational qualification, there will be also some physical parameters that need to be met. These are of qualifying nature and applicable for both Haryana Police Constable & SI posts.

Haryana Police Constable and SI exam will be an online knowledge test having 100 MCQs of a total of 80 marks to be completed in a maximum of 90 minutes. The question paper will be divided into several sections. The name of each section with the syllabus is given below:

HSSC Police Constable & SI Selection Process
Haryana Police Constable and SI process of selection have 4 stages:
- Written Test
- Physical efficiency
- Medical Fitness
- Document Verification
A candidate has to score high marks in each stage to move to the next stage during the selection process.
Additional Qualification (10% Weightage)
For Constable Post – 4 extra marks will be given to a candidate having a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 3 marks more will be given, if s/he also has a Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
For Sub-Inspector Post – 4 extra marks will be given to a candidate having a graduation degree in any discipline of duration 4 years or more from a recognized university. 3 marks more will be given if s/he also has a Post Graduate degree in any of the following disciplines- Police Science, Criminology, Forensic Science, Forensic Medicine, Computer Engineering/Science, and Law. PG degree should be obtained from a recognized university.
NCC Certificate – The candidates having NCC documents of A, B, or C level shall get 1, 2, and 3 marks respectively. This additional qualification will be applicable for both constables and Sub-inspector posts.
HSSC Constable & SI 2021 Admit Card
Candidates can download their Haryana Police Constable and SI admit card 2021 online from the official website www.hssc.gov.in and they are required to carry the Admit Card with a valid ID proof on the day of the exam. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) releases the admit card on the official website 10 to 15 days before the exams.
