Nationality
Nationality is the most important parameter to be considered before applying for IBPS PO 2021. As per IBPS PO 2021 official notification, an applicant must be,
- An Indian citizen (or)
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan (or)
- Tibetan refugees who have migrated to India before 1st Jan 1962 with an intention to settle in India (or)
- POI origin Migrants that have migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, and from East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam with an intention to settle permanently in India.
Persons having a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian Government are also eligible to apply for IBPS PO 2021. Except for Indian citizens, every other candidate will have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the central government, during verification.
IBPS PO 2021 Age Limit (As on 1st Aug 2021)
Age is another important criterion to be looked at to be eligible for IBPS PO 2021 exam. As per the IBPS PO 2021 official notification, as of 1st Aug 2021, the applicant should be 20 years old but has not acquired the age of 30 years i.e., the applicant should be born between 2nd Aug 1990 to 1st Aug 2000 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation
IBPS PO 2021 aspirants belonging to certain categories can claim age relaxation in the upper age limit as follows.

Prescribed Formats of certificates for SC, ST, OBC, PWD candidates are available to download on IBPS website @www.ibps.in. Certificates(s) / document(s) produced in other formats will not be accepted by IBPS authorities.
Educational Qualifications (As on 04th Sep 2021)
An applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution. Students in their final year of graduation cannot apply to IBPS PO 2021 because indicating the marks with percentage scored in Graduation in the online application is compulsory.
Educational qualification should be from University/Institute recognized by the Government of India/ approved by regulatory bodies. The final result should have been declared on or before 04.09.2021. The date of passing the eligibility qualification is considered as per the date mentioned on the mark sheet.
In case the result has been declared on or before the said date on the website by issuing a web-based certificate by Institute but the original certificates are issued at later date by indicating the date of passing and by signing by the competent authorities will be considered for the verification process.
IBPS PO 2021 Exam
IBPS PO will be a national level recruitment event to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the selection of personnel for Management Trainee / Probationary Officer posts in the Participating Banks / Organisations.
