As per IBPS PO 2018 official notification, an applicant must be an Indian citizen or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Migrants or refugees having a certificate of eligibility issued by the India Government are also eligible to apply for IBPS PO 2018.

IBPS PO 2018 Age Limit

Age is another important criterion to be looked for. As per the IBPS PO 2018 official notification, as on 1st Aug 2018, applicant should be 20 years old but has not acquired age of 30 years. In other words, we can say that an applicant should be born between 2nd Aug 1988 to 1st Aug 1998 (both dates inclusive). However, IBPS PO 2018 aspirants may seek age relaxation based on following

Note- Aspirants looking for age relaxation will be needed to present and submit necessary certificate(s) / document(s) in original / along with photocopies at the time of Interview. If they fail to do so then they will not be permitted to appear for the interview. Prescribed Formats of certificates for SC, ST, OBC, PWD candidates are available to download on IBPS website www.ibps.in. Certificates(s) / document(s) produced in other formats will not be accepted by IBPS authorities.

Educational Qualifications (As on 04th Sep 2018)

An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution. Students in their final year of graduation cannot apply to IBPS PO 2018 because indicating the marks with percentage scored in Graduation in online application is compulsory.

It will be a national level recruitment event to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for selection of personnel for Management Trainee / Probationary Officer posts in the Participating Banks / Organisations.
