IBPS PO Result 2021 – Prelim, Main and Interview, Cut Off

Check IBPS PO Results 2021 : IBPS PO Result of Prelim, Main, and Interview/ Final stage 2021 will be released by IBPS after each stage of the recruitment process on the official website of the IBPS @ibps.in. The candidate requires a Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ Date of Birth to check the IBPS PO result on the official website.

• IBPS PO Prelim exam will be conducted on 9, 10, 16, 17 October 2021 and the Prelim result will be announced in November 2021.
• The Main exam will be conducted on 27th November 2021 and the result will be declared in December 2021.
• The interview will be held in Jan/ Feb 2022 and the final result will be declared by April 2022.

IBPS PO 2021 Important Dates

IBPS PO Result Release Date

IBPS PO result for different stages of the recruitment exam will be released on the official website of IBPS. The tentative date for the release of the preliminary result is October/November 2021. The declaration of the main exam result will be in December 2021. The final result and merit list of selected candidates for the provisional allotment are expected to be released in April 2022.

How To Check IBPS PO Results?

Candidates, who take up IBPS PO Prelims/Main/ Interview 2021, will have to follow the steps given below to check the result.

• Visit the official website of IBPS at www.ibps.in
• Look for the link ‘IBPS PO Preliminary / Main/ Final Result 2021’
• Enter Registration number/Roll number and DOB/ Password
• Click on ‘Submit’
• On submission, the result will be displayed
• Print the result

Applicants can follow the above process to check the prelim/ Main/ Final examination result. IBPS will publish the list of candidates for Interviews on the official website after the main examination. The interview and further processes will be taken care of by the appropriate banks.

IBPS PO Interview 2021

• Candidates shortlisted in the online main examination will be invited for an interview.
• The interview will be conducted by the participating banks and it will be coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each Union territory and State with the help of the IBPS.
• The interview will be conducted in selected centers.
• The date, time, address, and the center for the interview will be informed to the candidates shortlisted in a call letter.
• Candidates will have to download their interview call letters from the website of IBPS.
• The total marks dedicated for the IBPS PO interview is 100. Candidates will have to get at least 40% marks in the interview. The qualifying mark is 35% for reserved category candidates.
• The percentage of weightage for the online main examination and the interview will be 80:20 respectively. The convening authority will arrive at the combined final score on the basis of the score in the Main exam and Interview.

Shortlisting Of Candidates

• In the process of selecting the candidates, the corrected scores obtained by each candidate in varied categories will be normalized by IBPS using the equi-percentile method.
• For the purpose of calculating the ranks, the IBPS will take the score up to two decimal points.
• Based on the merit secured by candidates in the preliminary examination, they will be shortlisted for the main examination.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the marks they secure in the main examination.
• The marks secured by candidates in the main examination will alone be considered for the interview.
• Marks of both the Main exam and Interview will be considered for final selection. The scores of the Preliminary examination are for short-listing to the main examination only and will not be taken for the final selection.

Scores

• Using the equi-percentile method, candidates’ scores will be normalized.
• Scores up to 2 decimal places shall be considered for calculations.

IBPS PO Cut Off 2021

• IBPS PO cut off will be decided by IBPS based on the number of candidates taking up the test, toughness of the question paper, category wise vacancies, and merit. 
• In the IBPS PO Prelim/ Main examination, candidates will have to get a minimum cut-off in each section along with the overall cut-off as specified by IBPS.
• Prelim exam score and cut off will be disclosed along with the result but the Main exam score and cut off will not be disclosed until the completion of the interview process.
• The scores secured in the online main examination will be released by the IBPS to the shortlisted candidates in the final result publication.

IBPS PO Prelim Expected Cut Off 2021

To qualify for the main examination, candidates will have to secure minimum marks in each section/test of the preliminary examination and also overall cut-off marks. Both section-wise cut-offs and overall cut-offs will be decided by IBPS after considering no. of vacancies.

As the preliminary examination is not yet completely over and so far the question paper was not too tough and it was moderate, it is expected that candidates can expect a cut-off of around 49-54 for the prelims.  The expected cut-off for the mains can be judged later after the main examination.

To be shortlisted for an interview, candidates will have to score minimum marks in each test and also minimum overall marks in the online main examination. After considering the no. of vacancies, the sectional and overall cut-off will be decided which further will be used to shortlist candidates for interview.

IBPS will conduct the IBPS PO 2021 Main exam on 27th Nov 2021 then an Interview in Jan / Feb 2022. After conducting IBPS PO 2021 mains and interview successfully, IBPS will release the final cut off somewhere in April 2022 on its official website i.e. ibps.in.
