JEE Advanced 2023 Online Registration : JEE Advanced 2023 Notification will be released on the official website in the 1st week of May 2023. In India, there are a total of 31 NITs (National Institute of Technology) and 20 IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) offering several undergraduate engineering and architecture courses. To get admission in any of the courses in any NIT or IIT, a candidate has to clear the JEE exam.
JEE known as Joint Entrance Examination, is one of the most highly rated and challenging undergraduate entrance exams in India. JEE exam is exclusively conducted for filling seats in IITs, NITs, and other central funded colleges/institutes. JEE was formerly called AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam and the JEE Advanced formerly IIT-JEE conducted by any of the seven zonal coordinating IITs under the guidance of the JAB/ Joint Admission board.
Candidates who wish to study in any of the above-mentioned colleges need to appear and qualify both the stages. Every year, the JEE Advanced exam is organized and conducted by any of the IITs. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam is conducted by IIT Kharagpur.
The final performance of the candidates in the JEE Advanced exam will form the base for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s as well as Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligibility Criteria
There are a total of five criteria set for candidates to be appearing in the JEE Advanced exam. Each of them is explained below in great detail:
Performance in JEE (Main) 2023
The first criterion is the performance of a candidate in JEE (Main) 2023. The JEE Advanced exam recruitment authorities already declared that only candidates among 2,24,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2023 are eligible for the JEE Advanced exam 2023.
However, the reservation will be applicable as per the government of India rules. Category-wise distribution of top 2,24,000* candidates are given below in the table:

Age Limit and Relaxation
The second criterion is Age-limit. Students who were born on or after 01.10.1996 are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced exam. However, there is also a provision of age relaxation in case if a candidate belongs to any special category.

Number Of Attempts
The third eligibility criterion is the number of attempts. The candidates can appear in JEE Advanced only two times in consecutive years. The candidates must have emerged for the Class XII (or equivalent) exam for the first time in either 2023 or 2020.
Participated in Class XII (or Equivalent) Examination
Candidate going to appear for JEE Advanced should have participated in class 12th or equivalent examination for the 1st time in either 2023 or 2020.
Earlier Admission at IITs
Candidates selected in past at any of the IITs but not continued in the program are not permitted to appear in JEE Advanced 2023.

JEE Advanced 2023 Fee and Mode Of Payment
Only online fees will be accepted for the JEE Advanced application. So, candidates are advised to pay the registration fee through a debit/credit card or net banking. Candidates can also pay their application fee through SBI Challan mode. The fee is neither transferable nor refundable. The fee details are given below:

JEE Advanced 2023 Registration
To apply for JEE Advanced, candidates need to register themselves at the JEE Advanced exam’s official website. Here’s the link of the website www.jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates note down that JEE Advanced Registration 2023 will be started from the 1st week of May 2023.
Candidates will have to fill & submit the application form till the 2nd week of May 2023. No other mode will be entertained to get the JEE Advanced application form. While registration, a candidate will require to upload his/her scanned images in a given format. Candidates are requested to keep the printout of the JEE Advanced Application Form 2023 for future use.
Note – Candidates are advised to fill their application form correctly as no correction will be allowed after form submission.
JEE Advanced 2023 Admit Card
JEE Advanced registered candidates can download their admit card in the 3rd week of May 2023 from JEE Advanced’s official website.
JEE Advanced admit card 2023 will have the following details such as name along with the address of the examination center allotted to the candidate, candidate’s name, photograph, signature, date of birth, roll number for JEE (Advanced) 2023, category and address for correspondence.
JEE Advanced 2023 Exam Pattern
- Candidates remember that JEE Advanced exam mode is Online (fully computer-based).
- JEE Advanced exam will be divided into two papers (Paper 1 & 2). Candidates have to appear in both papers.
- Paper 1 & 2 will be divided into three separate sections of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
- The question paper will be available in both the languages-Hindi and English.
- The duration of each paper will be 3 hours.
- Both the question papers consist of multiple-choice questions.

JEE Advanced Result 2023
According to JEE Advanced official notification/brochure, results will be declared in the second week of June 2023. After the official result announcement, participated candidates can check category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) through the website.
AAT Registration, Exam, and Results
Candidates qualified in JEE Advanced 2023 can register for the AAT exam (Architecture Aptitude Test) conducted for the courses of B.Arch admission in IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur.
