1. MP Police Constable and ASI
Candidates applying for the Madhya Pradesh Police Constable post will be shortlisted for final selection by conducting a Written Exam, Physical Test, and Skill / Trade Test. The first stage will be the Written Exam which will consist of two papers. All the candidates who successfully apply will have to appear for Paper I of the Written Exam. Paper-II of Written Exam will be conducted for those candidates who are applying for Assistant Sub-inspector or Head Constable Posts. Both the papers will contain MCQs for 100 marks and the duration of both papers will be 2 hours.
Candidates qualifying the Written Exam will be called for Physical Standard and Efficiency Test. To qualify the PST / PET candidates have to go through the physical measurement and they also have to qualify 800 meters running task within 2 minutes 45 seconds for Male and 4 minutes for females. To qualify shot put, Male has to throw 7.26 kg for 19 feet and Female 4 kg for 15 feet. For the long jump, the qualifying status will be 13 feet for Male and 10 feet for females.
After qualifying the PST / PET candidates will have to go through a Trade / Skill Test as per the post they will be applying for. Candidates who qualify the Trade / Skill Test will be appointed to the post of MP Police Constable / Assistant Sub Inspector.

2. MP Police Sub Inspector
Recruitment for MP Police Sub Inspector will be a three-step process. First the candidates who successfully apply will be called to appear for a Written Exam which will have 2 papers. Candidates applying for non-technical posts will only have to appear for Hindi, English and General Knowledge Paper, while those who apply for technical posts have to appear for Science Paper as well. Both the papers will have duration of 2 hours and Science Paper will be conducted for 100 marks and English, Hindi and GK paper will be conducted for 200 marks.
Those who qualify the Written Exam will be called for Physical Standard and Efficiency Test, during which the physical measurement of candidates will be taken. For Physical Efficiency Test, candidates have to go through 800 meters run within 2 min 40 sec (3 min 30 sec for Female), long jump 13 feet (10 feet for Female) and shot put for 19 feet (7.26kg) for Male and 15 feet (4 kg) for Female.
Those who qualify the PST / PET will be shortlisted for a Personal Interview. Candidates qualifying the Interview will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in all the stages of recruitment process for final selection on the post of MP Police Sub Inspector.

3. MP Home Guard Platoon Commander
All the candidates who successfully apply online will have to appear for the written exam which will be conducted for 200 marks and consists of multiple choice objective questions. The duration of Written Exam will be 3 hours there will be two papers in the written exam. Once the exam will conclude, a merit list will be prepared and shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Physical Test.
Candidates’ physical measurement will be taken during the Physical Test, and they have to qualify 5 physical tasks each will be conducted for 20 marks. The tasks under Physical Efficiency Test are as follows; long jump, 100 meter run, High Jump, shot put, and 1500 meter run. Candidates need to qualify the Physical Standard and Efficiency Test to become eligible for final round of selection process i.e. Interview.
After qualifying the Physical Test, candidates will be called for personal interview during which their personality, communication skills, mental abilities, and other relevant skills will be tested. Final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in all the stages of recruitment process. The final merit list will be published on the official website of MPPEB and those who get shortlisted will be appointed on the post of MP Home Guard Platoon Commander.

4. MP Police ASI (LDC) & Stenographer
MP PEB will conduct a Written Exam for all the candidates who successfully apply for ASI & Stenographer post. The Written Exam will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks which will be divided into 4 sections i.e. Hindi, General Knowledge, Basic Math and Computer Aptitude. Candidates will get 2 hours to answer all the questions which will be objective type MCQs. Those who qualify the Written Exam will be called for PMT / PET.
To qualify the Physical Measurement Test, candidates should have physical standards as required by MP PEB for which the measurement of height and chest of the candidates will be taken. Those who possess the required physical standards will go through physical tasks like, 800 running under 2 min 40 sec (3 min 30 sec for women), long jump 13 feet (10 feet for women) and shot put for 19 feet (7.72 kg) for men and 15 feet (4 kg) for women in order to qualify Physical Efficiency Test.
After PMT / PET, qualifying candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test / Document Verification round during which their relevant skills will be tested and their original documents will be verified.
