UPSC NDA & NA 2021 [Exam Date, Eligibility, Apply Online] : UPSC NDA 2021 Exam will be conducted twice every year, once in April and another in September/November. - To be eligible for the Army wing, candidates must have completed class 12th and for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy wings, candidates must have studied class 12th with Maths, Physics as major subjects.
Candidates who want to serve the nation by working in Indian Defence Forces need to clear the NDA examination. After every six months, the UPSC conducts the NDA exam for the students who want to join the Navy, Army, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy. NDA & NA 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit For NDA Exam I 2021
- Candidates born between 2 July 2002 to 1 July 2005 are only eligible for this exam.
- All the candidates born before 2 July 2002 and after 1 July 2005 are not eligible to write the exam.
Age Limit For NDA Exam II 2021
- Candidates born between 2 January 2003 to 1 January 2006 are only eligible for this exam.
- Candidates born before 2 January 2003 and after 1 January 2006 are not eligible to write the exam.
Gender
- Only unmarried males can appear for this exam.
- Girls are not allowed to write this exam.
NDA Physical Health Standards
- According to the standards followed by the Naval Academy and National Defence Academy 2021 candidate needs to be mentally and physically strong.
- At the time of the medical examination for the NDA exam. A candidate should not be:
- Overweight
- Underweight
- Undersized chest
- Should not have piles
- Wax in ears
- Nasal Septum deviated
- Tonsillitis
- Phimosis
- Varicocele
- Gynecomastia
- Permanent tattoos are only allowed at the inner face of the forearm. On the rest of the parts of the body, no permanent tattoos should be there.

NDA 2021 Minimum Educational Qualifications
- The candidates who want to apply for the Army Wing of NDA & NA must have completed class 12th from a recognized board or any other degree equivalent to 12th from a recognized board.
- Those candidates who are applying for Indian Air Force and Indian Navy should have passed their 12th with Mathematics and Physics as major subjects.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply
UPSC NDA & NA 2021 Application Fee
- For General and OBC students, the application fee will be Rs. 100/-.
- Wards of NCOs, ORS, and JCOs, and all other SC and ST candidates do not need to pay any application fee for the application form.
- To pay fees, candidates can either deposit the money in any SBI branch or pay online by using a net banking, debit/credit card.

For NDA I 2021 Application Form
- The application form will be available online from 30 December 2020.
- The last date to fill up the application form is 19 January 2021.
- The offline mode is not available, so all the candidates need to fill their forms online only.
- The date of the exam will be on Sunday, 18 April 2021
- The admit cards will be released before a week or two of the exam date.
- And, the results will be announced in the month of May 2021.
For NDA II 2021 Application Form
- The application form will be available online from 9 June 2021.
- The last date to fill up the application form is 29 June 2021.

How To Apply for NDA & NA 2021?
- The registration process of the NDA & NA exam form will be completed in two parts: Registration part 1 and Registration part 2.
Registration Part I
- In Registration part 1, students just need to fill in their personal information, education qualifications, email id, mobile number, and other essential details.
- After completing registration part one, the candidate will receive a registration number.
Registration Part II
- And after that in Registration part 2, students need to select the exam center of their choice across the country and make the fee payment.
- The fee can be paid online and offline. The offline payment can be done through the e-challan of SBI Bank.
- Candidate needs to upload their scanned photograph as well as the signature.
- Then, you just need to accept the declaration.
- You can get your form printed for further use.

NDA & NA 2021 Exam Pattern
UPSC NDA & NA 2021 exam paper will comprise of Mathematics and General Ability. The general ability section is further divided into English and General Knowledge.
- The mode of examination will be pen and paper.
- Objective questions will be asked in the exam.
- The question paper will be available in two languages: Hindi and English.
- There will be a negative marking for every wrong answer. 0.33 % marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Test Centres for NDA Exam 2021
The exam conducting authority wants a large number of candidates to appear for the NDA 2021 examination. Therefore, the authority is planning to conduct NDA 2021 examination in almost every major city in India including Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Delhi, Dharwad, Shillong, Jaipur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur, and Vishakhapatnam.

The UPSC NDA & NA 2021 admit card can be downloaded from the UPSC official website. All the aspirants are required to know that no Admit Card will be sent by post or any other mode. NDA 2021 admit cards will be available to download 3 weeks before the date of examination.

NDA & NA 2021 Cut Off
If a candidate wants to qualify in NDA & NA 2021 written examination then s/he needs to score above cut-off marks. Cut-off marks are the minimum marks set by the UPSC. NDA 2021 cut off marks will be available to check within one week from the date of declaration of results.
UPSC NDA 2021 Selection Procedure (SSB Interview)
Candidates who qualify NDA 2021 written examination will be called for the SSB interview round to be organized in two stages- Stage 1 & Stage 2. SSB interview round will be conducted over four to five days.
Stage 1 of the interview will be an Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception & Description Test.
Candidates who passed in Stage 2 will be called for Stage II. Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and the Conference will be conducted in the second stage. Candidates qualified in both the stages of SSB interview will have to undergo a medical test.
