The Central Board of Secondary Education familiar as CBSE will declare NEET UG 2018 results on June 5th 2018. NEET also known as National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is one of the most challenging medical entrance examinations not only in India but also across the globe. Every year, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes.

About NEET UG 2018

For the academic year 2018-19, NEET UG 2018 has been conducted by CBSE in the month of May 2018, on 6th May 2018. NEET UG 2018 examination consists of one paper containing 180 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) from Biology (Botany & Zoology), Physics and Chemistry. For every correct answer a candidate will get 4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be subtracted from the total score. Candidates will get maximum three hours to solve complete question paper. NEET UG 2018 aspirants can choose Question Paper in any one of the following languages- Kannada, Tamil, Telegu, Assamese, Bengali, Oriya, Marathi, English, Hindi and Gujarati.

After conducting NEET UG 2018 test, the Central Board of Secondary Education will publish answer key on its website in the month of May 2018. After few days, CBSE will declare NEET UG 2018 Result on its website in the month of June 2018 i.e on 5th June 2018. To check result, a candidate has to visit NEET UG 2018 website.

How To Check NEET UG 2018 Result?

  • Open CBSE NEET official website
  • Find ‘NEET(UG) – 2018 Result’ link which will be located under ‘Online Services’ heading
  • Click ‘NEET(UG) – 2018 Result’ link
  • You will be redirected to a new page where ‘CBSE – NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST
    NEET (UG) – 2018  RESULTS’ will be available in the center of the page
  • On this page enter your roll number and date of birth in their respective blank fields
  • Click ‘Submit’ tab/button
  • Your NEET UG 2018 Result will be opened
  • Save it or download it
  • Don’t forget to take a print out of your NEET UG 2018 result as you have to present your result copy at the time of counseling

NEET UG 2018 Cut-off

After result declaration, in the month of June 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education will publish cut-off marks on its official website. Final cut-off marks will be announced by examination conducting authority on the basis of participant’s marks range, number of participants & category. After declaring cut-off marks, CBSE will prepare a final merit list containing all India ranks. NEET UG 2018 counseling will be organized and controlled by the MCC (Medical Counseling committee) after receiving merit list by CBSE.

Number Of Students Appears In NEET UG 2018

Exact number of student is still unknown. But, it is expected that around 8 lakh students will participate in this medical entrance test for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes in all the private, government, deemed institutions/colleges located in India. Exact number of students going to appear in NEET UG 2018 will be disclosed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) soon.
