Age Limit and Relaxation
On 18th April 2021, a candidate should be not more than 26 years old. Category-wise age limit along with relaxation is explained in the below table:

Essential Qualifications
Interested candidates should have any of the following degrees: B Sc (Engineering)/ B.E./B. Tech./5 year Integrated M. Tech. along with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in any of the below-mentioned engineering disciplines. Candidates are required to know that their degree should be recognized by AICTE/UGC. In addition to this, candidates should have a valid GATE-2020 or 2021 Score in the same engineering discipline.

- Courses/Disciplines other than above mentioned will not be considered
- Candidates should have valid GATE 2020/GATE 2021 scores in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
- Final year engineering candidates can also apply to this recruitment event however if they will be selected by the organization then they will need to show as well as submit the final result showing completion of the degree with at least 60% marks on or before November 30th, 2021
NPCIL Executive Trainees 2021 Application Fee
Only male candidates of the General and OBC category have to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- as their application fee. There is no application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, women candidates, persons with disabilities, and DODPKIA candidates. DODPKIA stands for Dependents of Defense Personnel Killed in Action.

As per the official notification, the application fee should be submitted by the candidates online along with online application form. To pay the application fee online, male candidates of a general category can use an ATM cum debit card/credit card or internet banking service.
NPCIL Executive Trainees 2021 Application Form and Process
NPCIL recruitment 2021 application forms will be available online on its official website. But before attempting an online application, students are requested to go through the eligibility criteria and make sure that they meet all the criteria. Along with this, they also make sure that they have the valid GATE 2020 or GATE 2021 score. It is so because for applying to NPCIL, candidates have to use the Registration number printed on their GATE 20120 or GATE 2021 admit card. The online application is a four step process:

- Step III Filling of candidate’s personal details & application submission
- Step IV Application fee submission (if applicable)
While attempting online application, candidates should fill up the GATE Registration Number correctly and apply only for the respective discipline. It is so because further correction in discipline or GATE Registration number will not be permitted or entertained. The process for attempting NPCIL recruitment 2021 online application consists of the below provided steps:
- Open NPCIL’s official website
- On the homepage, you will see the ‘Apply Online’ link
- Click the same link
- Now read the ‘How to apply’ instructions carefully
- Click ‘online registration’ tab available under ‘Apply’ tab
- Select options carefully like the post you want to apply for, discipline, etc.
- Select GATE examination year (either 2020 or 2021)
- Provide your GATE Registration No. (Printed on your GATE admit card), GATE Registered Email ID and GATE registered mobile no.
- Now select category and other options
- Check all the filled details and make the correction (if needed)
- Click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- Instantly, you will get an activation link through email
- Now activate the account by clicking on the activation link
- After activating your account successfully, you will need to login using your login ID & password
- After login, fill in the rest of the details like educational qualification, work experience, etc.
- Provide your personal details as asked in the online application form
- Upload your photo & signature
- Click on the ‘Save and Proceed to Next Step’ tab and modify details if you want to
- Click ‘Submit Application’
- You will get a system generated Application number

NPCIL Executive Trainees 2021 Interview Call Letter
Interview Call Letters for shortlisted candidates based on GATE score will be available online on the website. Candidates’ call letters will be printed with the time and venue of the interview. Shortlisted candidates can obtain their ‘Interview Call Letters’ by login into their online accounts. Candidates should bring their call letters to the interview venue. Without a call letter, candidates will not be permitted to appear for the interview.
Documents for Interview
Candidates shortlisted for interviews should bring their call letters along with a valid Photo ID, a clear printed copy of their application form, self-attested copies of their educational certificates & mark sheets, etc. Without any of the said things, a candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview. In addition to this, candidates also have to bring original documents at the time of the personal interview.
NPCIL Executive Trainees 2021 Interview Date
The interview will be held from 9-21 August 2021 by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL).
NPCIL Executive Trainees 2021 Training & Placement
After final selection, a candidate will have to go through 1 year training programme as an ‘Executive Trainee’ in any of the centres situated at several locations like Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Kaiga Karnataka and Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu, etc.
After training, a candidate will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and gets posting at any of the NPCIL sites. During the training period, a candidate will get Rs. 35,000/- as monthly stipend and Rs. 10,000/- as one-time book allowance. Accommodation will be provided by NPCIL.
Selection Process
For the posts of Executive Trainee 2021, the final selection will be done on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview. There will be no use of GATE scores for the final selection. For Personal Interview, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE 2021 or GATE 2020 scores. Qualifying marks for interview are given below:
- SC/ST/OBC/PwBD – 60 %
- Unreserved – 70 %
NPCIL 2021 Result
