NVS recruitment written exam pattern has been announced by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Candidates who will be appearing for CBT / written examination to be conducted for a post under NVS recruitment 2023 must aware of the NVS recruitment exam pattern which includes the type of questions to be asked in the examination, no. of questions, the difficulty level of questions, marking scheme, time duration, etc.
Along with NVS Recruitment 2023 exam pattern, candidates are also advised to know about the NVS recruitment 2023 syllabus. NVS recruitment syllabus and exam pattern will help candidates in getting the highest marks in written examination / CBT.
NVS Recruitment 2023 will include a written examination / computer-based test, interview, and trade/skill test whereas interview and trade/skill test will be conducted for a few posts only. To be selected for the posts to which they had applied, candidates will have to clear and qualify in the examination of each stage/phase.
NVS Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates who had applied for NVS recruitment 2023 will be called to appear for a written examination / CBT which is scheduled from 5th to 10th September 2023 (tentative). Written examination / CBT will consist of objective type questions to be solved in the time period specified on the paper. There will be a different paper for each post. Post wise examination pattern is as under
For The Post Of Assistant Commissioner
There will be a single paper consisting of five parts/tests to be completed in a total of 3 hours. The Paper will have a total of 180 questions, each with 1 mark. So, the total marks will be 180.

There will be a single question paper for both of the posts viz., TGTs & Miscellaneous Teachers. Paper will have 180 MCQs, each of 1 mark, distributed in 5 tests/parts/sections. Candidates will get a total of 3 hours to solve all the MCQs.
Tests / Sections from I to III will be common for both of the posts of TGTs & Miscellaneous Teachers and Test no. IV will be subject-specific whereas there will be also Test V. Part I to IV of the candidates will be evaluated only if they manage to qualify in Part V of the test by scoring minimum marks.

Interview / Personal Interaction
There will be also an Interview conducted for those candidates who had applied for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Assistant Commissioner, and Miscellaneous Category of Teachers. Selection of candidates for interview will be done on the basis of their performance in written examination / CBT.
Trade / Skill Test
Trade/skill test will be conducted only for the post of Lower Division Clerk and it will be of qualifying in nature. The selection of candidates for LDC will be based on their performance in the written examination / CBT.
Mode Of Selection / Final Selection
For the posts of Female Staff Nurse, Legal Assistant & Catering Assistant, the selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written examination / CBT.
For the post of LDC, the selection of candidates will be confirmed only if they manage to qualify trade/skill test, and shortlisting of candidates for a trade/skill test will be done on the basis of their performance in the written examination / CBT.
For the rest posts like Assistant Commissioner, PGTs, TGTs, and Miscellaneous Category of Teachers, the selection of candidates will be confirmed after considering marks obtained by them in the written examination and interview.
