OTET Exam Pattern
- OTET 2022 will consist of 2 papers viz., Paper I and Paper-II.
- Candidates who want to be eligible for teaching in any class between 1 and 5 will have to opt and appear for Paper I.
- On the other hand, candidates who want to be eligible for teaching in any class between 6 and 8 will have to opt and appear for Paper-II.
- Both Paper I and Paper II will have 150 objective type questions to be solved in a time duration of 2 ½ hours. Each question will be of 1 mark whereas no marks will be deducted on the selection of wrong answer(s).
- In both papers, there will be two language tests- language I and language II. For Language I, a candidate will have to choose any 1 language from – Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, and Bengali whereas the language II test subject shall be English for all the candidates.

Qualifying Marks
The selection process will be based on merit in the OTET exam. Candidates who scored 60% or more marks in Odisha TET 2022 will be considered OTET qualified/passed candidates. However, for Physically Handicapped candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, SEBC / OBC, the qualifying marks is 50%.
