RPF SI 2022 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the post of Sub-inspector in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force, candidates should meet the following eligibility conditions:
Nationality
An applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit and Relaxation
On 1st July 2022, the applicant must be 20 years old but not more than 25 years old. Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the candidates belonging to reserved categories as shown below:

Educational Qualifications
Candidates interested to apply for RPF SI 2022 recruitment event should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Degree must be obtained from a recognized University. Candidates in the final year of their graduation course or waiting for the results of the final examination should not apply.

RPF SI 2022 Application Form and Process
RPF SI 2022 application form will be available online from 1st September 2022. Interested candidates should have to visit si.rpfonlinereg.org/, to apply for the post of Sub-Inspectors. The process to attempt an online application is explained below:
- Go to Railway Protection Force online portal or click here
- Click on the online application link
- Read all the given instructions carefully
- Click on the given check box
- Provide your personal details such as your name, mobile number, valid email ID, Date of Birth and Father’s name, Mother’s name, Education Board, 10th/Matric Roll number, year of passing 10th/Matric, Aadhaar number(optional), State/UT, Category, etc.
- Recheck all the filled information and make changes if required otherwise click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- Instantly, you will see a registration number and password
- You will also receive an OTP on your registered mobile number
- Enter the OTP to proceed with the filling up of the application
- After filling up details like Educational qualification, gender, religion, etc select payment option
- In case of offline payment, generate SBI or Post Office challan otherwise make the payment through net banking/credit card/debit card
- Upload scanned copies of your latest PP size photo and category certificate (if applicable)
- Submit the entire application form and print it
RPF SI 2022 Application Fee & Mode Of Payment
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minorities/Economically backward class /Ex-serviceman /Female categories shall have to pay a fee of Rs. 250 as their examination fee. However, if they will appear in CBT then this fee will be refunded to them after deducting applicable bank charges.
The rest of the candidates shall have to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- as their examination fee. However, if they appear in CBT, Rs. 400/- will be refunded to them after deducting bank charges.
All the candidates can make payment of their examination fee through both online and offline modes. To pay fees online, they will have to use an internet banking facility or debit/credit card. Online payment will be allowed till 2nd Oct 2022.
To pay the examination fee offline, a candidate will have to generate an SBI Bank Challan and submit it along with the requisite amount in any branch of SBI. Post office Challan payment mode is also available. Applicants who register themselves till 30th September 2022 (23.59 hrs) can make offline payments till 5th Oct 2022 (Bank Hours).
RPF SI 2022 Exam Pattern
RPF SI 2022 recruitment event includes 3 stages,
- CBT
- PET & PMT and Document Verification
- Medical examination
Stage I (CBT)
- First, there will be a computer-based test containing 120 objective-type questions to be solved in a total of 90 minutes.
- Each question will be of one mark.
- For each wrong answer, 1/3 marks shall be deducted from the overall score.
- Candidates should have to score at least 35% marks (30% for SC & ST) to pass in the CBT.
Stage II (PET & PMT)
There will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement (PMT) for CBT qualified candidates. Passing stage II is necessary for the candidate. The criteria for PET will be the same as given below:

Stage III (ME)
On the basis of the performance of the applicant in the CBT and subject to his/her qualifying in PET & PMT, s/he will be called for stage III, Medical examination. Applicants who will not appear in stage III will not be considered for the final selection. Candidates need to download the attestation form and fill and submit it during a medical exam. Venue and details of Medical exam intimation will be sent to candidate registered mobile number and Email Id.

RPF SI 2022 Admit Card
E-call letters for the computer-based test shall be available to download about 10 days before the date of the CBT. Eligible candidates will need to visit the Indian Railways website to download their e-call letter. All the candidates are required to know that no call letter will be sent by post.
For appearing in the CBT, candidates should have to bring their e-call letters along with their valid photo ID.
Note:- Central Recruitment Committee will issue a separate call letter for the CBT, PET & PMT and document verification.

RPF SI Cut Off
RPF SI Cut Off 2022 will be released on the official website for Group A, B, C, D, E, F separately. Candidates must score above the cut-off to qualify in CBT. Minimum qualifying marks for General/ OBC candidates is 35% and for SC/ST is 30%.
