SBI Clerk 2021 [Apply Online, Vacancies] : SBI Clerk 2021 Notification has been released on 26 April 2021 for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. SBI will recruit 5454 candidates for the post of Clerk and eligible candidates can submit an online application along with a fee between 27 April 2021 and 20 May 2021. SBI Clerk 2021 is conducted for Clerk vacancies in all States but candidates can apply for one state only.
- SBI Clerk 2021 apply online link along with a payment of fees shall be available from 27 April 2021 and the last date of registration is 20 May 2021.
- SBI Clerk 2021 selection process will include a Prelim and Main exam which will be an online objective type test.
- SBI Clerk Prelim exam will be conducted on 10, 11, 12, 13 July 2021 and the Main exam on 31 July 2021.
- After the online Main examination, a local language test will be conducted for the candidates who have not studied the specified opted local language in the 10th or 12th standard.
- Clerk / Junior Associates in SBI will be paid around Rs. 25,000/- per month (Basic Pay is Rs. 13,075 i.e., 11,756 + 2 advanced increments for Graduates).
Provisional selection will depend on the order of merit to be prepared after considering the candidate’s performance in the online Main examination. The final selection will depend on verification of the candidate’s eligibility and qualifying local language test, where applicable.
Candidates will have to serve a probation period of 6 months. SBI Clerk to be recruited will not be considered for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter-State Transfer.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (As on 1 April 2021)
As on 1st Jan 2021, the applicant should be at least 20 years old but not more than 28 years which means an applicant should be born between 2nd April 1993 to 1st April 2001, both dates inclusive.

Minimum Educational Qualification (As on 16 Aug 2021)
Applicants interested in applying for SBI Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) 2021 examination must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
A candidate with an integrated dual degree (IDD) is also eligible to apply if the date of passing is on or before 16 Aug 2021. Final year graduation students can also apply but they have to get a degree or certificate of completion on or before 16 Aug 2021.
Knowledge of Local Language
Candidates must speak, understand, read, and write in the local language of the state they have applied for. Candidate’s knowledge of the local language will be tested if they qualify in the Main exam. Candidates producing their 10/+2 mark sheet or any other eligible certificate that prove their knowledge in the local language need not undergo the language test.

SBI Clerk 2021: How To Apply Online?
Step 1 Registration
- Open ‘Careers’ page @ SBI online portal
- On the ‘Careers’ page, you will see ‘Recruitment Of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales)’ under ‘Current Openings’ Main heading link
- Click it to view the ‘Apply Online’ link
- Click the ‘Apply Online’ link
- Now, hit the cursor on the “Click here for New Registration” link
- Read all the important points to be noted then click on the tab ‘Continue’
- Now, you have to register yourself by entering the required details such as the candidate’s name, email address, and mobile number
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button
- Instantly, you will get a provisional computer-generated registration number as well as a password
- Note it down carefully for future reference
- You will also receive the computer-generated registration number & password via email & SMS
Step 2 Upload Of Documents
- On continuing with the application or after login into your online account with the same computer-generated registration number & password, you will see a page having two buttons to upload ‘Photo’ & ‘Signature’
- Upload scanned files of your photo and signature as per the guidelines prescribed by SBI in the notification
- Now, click on tab ‘Next’

- On the next page, a preview of your registration will open up

- Otherwise, read a statement of declaration then accept it

Step 5 Payment
- On clicking the ‘Final Submit’ tab, you will be redirected to the payment page
- On the payment page, you will see ‘Amount’ to be paid
- Enter the word as shown in the image
- Then click on tab ‘Submit’
- You will see a few options through which you can make payments online
- Select any 1 option
- Enter the details of the selected option
- Click on the tab ‘Make Payment’
- After making the payment successfully, now print the e-receipt and your final submitted application

Sbi Clerk Application Fee 2021
Candidates who belong to the General (UR or unreserved) and OBC category need to pay Rs 750/- as their SBI Clerk 2021 online application fee including intimation charges. Other applicants of SC/ST/PwD/XS (Ex-servicemen) categories are exempted from payment fees and intimation charges.

Candidates note down that they can pay fees only in online mode through a credit/debit card, net banking as well. - SBI Prelim examination will be held in online mode and there will be objective types of questions for a total of 100 marks.
- The total exam duration will be 1 hour.
- The prelim exam paper will be divided into 3 sections, English Language (30 MCQs), Numerical Ability (35 MCQs), and Reasoning Ability (35 MCQs).
- For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking

SBI Clerk Main Exam Pattern
- SBI Main exam will be held in online mode and contain objective type questions.
- In this question paper, there will be a total of 190 MCQs for 200 marks.
- The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 40 minutes.
- The main examination paper will be divided into 4 sections, General/Financial Awareness (50 MCQs), General English (40 MCQs), Quantitative Aptitude (50 MCQs), and Reasoning Ability & computer aptitude (50 MCQs).
- The main examination question paper will be conducted both in English and Hindi language (except for the test of General English).
- For every incorrect answer, 1/4th of the mark allotted to that question will be deducted as a penalty.

Local Language Test
Candidates who are qualified for selection but not have studied the specified opted local language in the 10th or 12th will have to appear for a local language test to be conducted before joining the Bank. Candidates who are not proficient in the opted local language would be disqualified.

- The preliminary examination will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the Main examination
- Marks secured in the online Main exam will be considered for provisional selection
- The local language test will be conducted after the online Main examination and before joining. It will be qualifying in nature and mandatory for those who have not studied opted local language in X / XII standard
- The final selection depends on the candidate’s eligibility and qualifying local language test (if applicable).

SBI Clerk Admit Card 2021
Applicants are advised to print their e-admit card from the State Bank of India’s official website. The State Bank of India will issue a separate call letter for the Preliminary and Main examination. Preliminary examination call letters are available to download from SBI’s website from 27 June 2021.
Candidates qualified in the Preliminary examination will be called for the Main examination. Candidates called for the Main examination can download their admit cards from SBI’s website from July 2021.
