TISS BAT 2023 official notification will get released in October 2022 for admission in academic session 2023-22. TISS Bachelor’s Admission Test is conducted for admission to 3 year BA Programme in Social Sciences, BA Hons. in Social Work with specialization in rural development.

TISS BAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
Candidates who have passed class 12th/ intermediate in any of the streams from the recognized Board are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates who have passed the International Baccalaureate Diploma and waiting for results of class 12th in June 2023 are eligible to apply for admission in TISS.
Candidates who have already given the class 12th examination and are waiting for the result can apply for TISS BAT.
Age Limit
The maximum age of the candidates is 23 years as on 5th May 2023. The candidates whose age is more than 23 years are not eligible.

- BA Programme in Social Sciences: 180 seats
- BA (Hons) in Social Work: 40 seats
TISS BAT Fee
After submission of the application form, the candidates will have to pay the application fees. The application fee is notified by TISS as follows.
- General Category: Rs. 1075/-
- Reserved Category: Rs. 275/-
The mode of paying the application fee is both online and offline as per the choice of candidates. The online payment will be made through internet banking/ credit card/ debit card. The offline payment will be through the SBI challan.
TISS BAT 2023 Application Form
candidates must complete TISS BAT registration in order to appear in the entrance exam. Make sure that before starting the registration process have a valid email ID and working mobile number.
After the registration process is completed, candidates will get a registration ID and password. After receiving the registration ID and password, log in to the official website and fill in the personal and educational information of the last qualifying examination. Fill the preference for the exam center in the application form which cannot be changed once filled.
Make sure that no incorrect information is filled in the application form. If any of the information is found to be incorrect at the time of admission, candidates will be disqualified from the admission process.
Therefore, before the final submission of the application form, candidates must recheck the filled information to make sure that all the information filled in the application form is correct.

TISS BAT 2023 Exam Pattern & Selection Process
- TISS BAT mode of examination is online which consists of 2 parts: Part A and Part B.
- Paper A will have MCQ type of questions for 60 marks to be completed in 60 minutes.
- Part B will have 2 essay writing questions for 40 marks to be completed in 30 minutes.
- Total marks are 100 and the time duration is 90 minutes.
- Part A Multiple Choice Questions will cover the topics from Logical and Analytical Reasoning, Current Affairs, and the topic mentioned in the syllabus.
- Part B will have 2 subjective (Essay) questions.

TISS BAT Interview
Candidates qualified in the TISS BAT written exam will be called for the next round of admission i.e., interview. The candidates must ensure that the interview will be applicable for those who want admission in the course of BA (HONS) in Social Work. The admit card of TISS BAT contains important information related to the candidate as well as the entrance examination.

Upload Documents for Admission & Payment of Fee
After TISS BAT final results, selected candidates must upload scanned copies of their Paid fees challan, Scorecard, and Acceptance letter for verification and pay the required fee. SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates should also upload the Caste and the Income certificates. provisional admission will be confirmed after document submission.
TISS BAT 2023 Cut Off
TISS BAT cut off marks will be different for Part A and Part B. It is the minimum qualifying marks that must be scored by the candidates to participate in the admission process.
