1. Tamil Nadu Police Constable 2021
TNUSRB is expected to release the notification for commencing the recruitment for the post of TN Police Constable in September 2021. The online application process will start along with the release of notification. Candidates who want to apply will have to fill the online application form through the TNUSRB website.
Those who successfully apply for TN Police Constable will be called to appear for a Written Exam that will be conducted for 85 marks. Questions will be divided into two sections, General Knowledge for 55 marks and General Ability Test for 30 marks. Written Exam will consist of objective type MCQs and those who qualify the Written Exam will be called for Physical Test.
During the Physical Test, measurement of height and chest of the candidates will be taken and for qualifying the Physical Endurance and Efficiency Test, the candidate has to perform physical tasks like running for 100 or 400 meters, long jump, high jump, shot put, and rope climbing. After conducting PMT / PET TNUSRB will shortlist the qualifying candidates for the Interview.
The interview will be conducted to assess the mental ability and relevant skills of the candidates. Candidates who qualify the Interview will become eligible for final selection. TNUSRB will prepare the final merit list on the basis of 100 marks out of which 85 will be taken from Written Exam, 10 from the Interview and 5 special marks will be awarded for NCC, NSS & Sports quota. 2. Tamil Nadu Police Sub Inspector 2021
Tamil Nadu Police Sub Inspector notification is expected to be released in September 2021 on the official website of TNSURB. The candidates who are interested in applying will be able to do so by filling the online application form once the notification is released.
The selection process for Tamil Nadu Police Sub Inspector will be divided into three parts, a Written Exam, a Physical Measurement / Endurance / Efficiency Test, and Interview. Written Exam will be conducted for 70 marks and consists of objective type MCQs. Candidates will need 25 marks to qualify the Written Exam. Candidates who qualify the Written Exam will be shortlisted for the Physical Measurement / Endurance / Efficiency Test.
In the second stage, physical measurements of the candidates will be taken, and they also have to perform certain physical tasks, like rope climbing, long jump, high jump, running and shot put in order to qualify the Physical Endurance / Efficiency Test.
