UPESEAT 2023 Registration : The UPESEAT 2023 is conducted for admission of students to the Engineering Course offered by the university. The university has the School of Engineering through which engineering course is offered. At the UG level, B. Tech is offered in different branches, while at the PG level M. Tech is also offered in different branches.
- UPESET registration process commences from September 2022 and the last date of registration is the last week of April 2023.
- UPESEAT exam will be scheduled to be held in the 1st week of May 2023.
The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies was established in the year 2003. The university holds the pride of being one of the NAAC Accredited universities in the country. The university offers different courses like B. Tech, B. Des, B.A, BBA, LL. B at the UG Level and courses like LLM, MA, MBA and M. Tech at the PG Level. The university conducts different entrance examination for admission of students to these courses.

UPESEAT 2023 Notification
Official notification is not issued by the university. However, university will post details about the beginning of the registration process. UPESEAT 2023 Eligibility
The age and educational qualification required to apply for UPESEAT are as follows
Age
Only candidates, who have born after 1st of October 1997, can alone apply to UPESEAT 2023. Also, their DOB as registered in their secondary school leaving certificate will alone be considered authentic for calculating their age.
Educational Requirement
The applicants must have secured at least 60% of marks both in class X and XII to apply for UPESEAT 2023. Also, they should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, chemistry and mathematics paper at the higher secondary level (Class XII).

Candidates interested in applying to UPESEAT can do the same from the official website of the university. To apply, they will have to pay an application fee of Rs.1850.

How To Apply Online For UPESEAT 2023?
- For those planning to apply in online mode, they will have to first register themselves by entering personal details like name, DOB, gender etc.
- Once all the details are filled and submitted, the applicants will get a One-Time Password to their registered mobile number
- They will have to submit the received OTP. When they do this, they will get the username and password to their registered Email ID
- Using these login credentials they will have to confirm the details at the website of the university
- They will have to pay the application fee after filling up the application form. The application fee can be paid through cash, DD, credit card/debit card or using Net Banking.
Apply Offline – UPESEAT 2023?
For those planning to apply offline, they will have to get the application form from the admission centres of the university in different cities in India by paying Rs.1850. They will fill up the application form and should submit it to the enrolment officers at Delhi/Dehradun.
UPESEAT 2023 Exam Pattern
The test is conducted both offline and online and applicants have the option to take any of these. The questions will be in MCQ format and the duration of the test will be 3 hours. Here is the format:
- Total Number of questions – 200 Divided as
- Mathematics – 50 Questions
- Physics – 50 Questions
- Chemistry – 50 Questions
- English Language Comprehension – 30 Questions
- Current Affairs Awareness – 20 Questions.
One mark will be allotted for each correct answer and there will not be any negative marking for wrong answers. The question paper for UPESEAT will be in English only.
UPESEAT 2023 Selection Process
In addition to selecting candidates through UPESEAT, the university also has a non-examination pathway for admission. Candidates planning to enter the university through this mode should have either a board merit or JEE merit.
In the case of admission through board merit, applicants must have secured at least 80% of marks in class 10 and 12 and also an aggregate of 80% of marks in PCM in class 12.
For JEE Merit, applicants must have secured at least 60% of marks in Class 10 and 12 with 60% of aggregate marks in PCM in class 12. Also, they should have a JEE Main score of 60 or above. The university has reserved that 20% of seats will be filled through this mode. Candidates shortlisted through this mode and also through UPESEAT will have to attend the counselling. Admission is made through counselling.
UPESEAT 2023 Syllabus
The syllabus for UPESEAT will be equivalent to the Class XI and XII syllabus of CBSE Board for chemistry, physics and mathematics.
UPESEAT 2023 Admit Cards
The university will issue admit cards for applicants, who have successfully submitted the application form. It is expected that the admit cards will be made available from the last week of April for the offline exam and the first week of May for the online exam.
- Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of the university
- They should have their application number and DOB to download the admit card
- Before downloading, candidates should check whether all details in the admit card are correct
- If they find some mistakes or misprints, they should immediately inform the admission authorities.
If everything is correct, they will have to download the admit card and should print it and it should be brought to the examination hall.
UPESEAT 2023 Results
Tentatively, the results for UPESEAT 2023 will be out by the third week of May 2023. The result will display section-wise, category-wise and overall ranks of the candidates, who took up the test. To know their results, candidates will have to login to the website using their application number and registered mobile number.
UPESEAT 2023 Cut-off
The cut-off is the least mark a candidate should secure to qualify in UPESEAT. The university will decide the cut-off every year considering different factors.
