UPPCL AE 2021 [Exam Date, Vacancies] : UPPCL AE Notification will be released in September 2021 for the direct recruitment of AE under the E&M cadre in the discipline of Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/Information Technology, and Civil. UPPCL AE Eligibility 2021
Following is the eligibility criteria of UPPCL AE examination 2021:
Nationality
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen
- The candidate should be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh
Those candidates who are not a domicile of Uttar Pradesh can apply for the UPPCL AE examination 2021 under the open category only.
Age Limit
The candidate must have attained an age of 21 years and should not exceed 40 years as on 01-01-2021. Candidates belonging to the reserved category will have the age relaxation as tabulated below.

Education Qualification
- Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Lipi
- Candidate must have a qualified degree in Electrical Engineering or a mixed discipline degree with Electrical engineering as a major subject
- Candidate must have a qualified degree in Electronics Engineering or Communication Engineering or a mix of the two discipline with Electronics engineering or communication engineering as its major
- Candidate must have a degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Engineering or a mixed discipline degree with either of them as major
- Candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering
- The degree of the candidate should be recognized by the Government of India
- Degree attained through distance mode of education are ineligible
No Objection Certificate
Those candidates who are working in a central government/ state government/ government undertaking organization/ Semi-government organization will have to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of joining.

UPPCL AE Application form will be released on the official website of UPPCL. The application process starts with 25.09.2021 and will end on 14.10.2021. Interested candidate should apply as soon as possible as there is going to be heavy traffic at a later stage. - UPPCL will conduct a computer-based examination in multiple sessions.

UPPCL AE Selection Process 2021
The selection process for the UPPCL AE examination is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the computer-based examination followed by the personnel interview. The computer-based examination is going to held in multiple sessions hence there is going to be normalization of marks according to the formula given below
Xn= {(S2/S1)*(X-Xav)}+Yav
Xn : Normalized score of the candidate
S2 : Is the standard deviation of the shift with the highest average score taken as a base for normalization
S1 : Standard deviation for the corresponding shift (to be scaled to S2)
X : Raw score of the candidate
Xav : Simple average of the candidate shift
Yav : Average corresponding to shift with highest average (taken as a base for normalization)
The final selection will be based on the composite marks of the computer-based examination and personnel interview.
UPPCL AE Admit Card 2021
The admit card for UPPCL AE 2021 examination will be released on the official website of UPPCL in about 15-18 days prior to the date of examination. The examination centres will be in major cities in Uttar Pradesh. The examination will be conducted in multiple sessions and the candidate is advised to check the day and date of examination.
