A candidate will be declared qualified if he/she secures 60% of the total marks in the General Category and 55% of the total marks in the Reserved Category. Candidates who shall be declared qualified shall receive an eligibility certificate with a validity of 5 years.

UPTET Qualifying Marks
It is essential for the appeared candidates to secure the minimum qualifying marks to be declared qualified. Candidates from unreserved and general categories have to score at least 90 marks out of 150 marks in order to qualify TET. On the other hand, the candidates of the reserved category need to score 82 marks for qualifying TET.

Eligibility Certificate
The eligibility certificate of UPTET will be valid for the duration of 5 years from the date of the announcement of the result. The eligibility certificate can be obtained by qualified candidates from the District Education & Training Center. However, the candidates need to carry the original copy of UPTET hall ticket 2021 along with the photo ID card to get UPTET Eligibility Certificate.
Duplicate Eligibility Certificate
