Check UPTET 2018 Result Declared – Roll Number Wise : Soon after the completion of the UPTET 2018, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will announce UP TET result 2018. The authorities will declare the result on the official website at upbasiceduboard.gov.in after few weeks from 4th November 2018, date scheduled for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018. The candidates who are going to appear for the exam on the scheduled date will be able to check the UPTET 2018 result using their roll number along with the security code. The whole result for the appeared candidates will be based on the scores obtained by them in the exam and score will be prepared on the basis of answer key decided by the authorities.

How To Check UPTET 2018 Result?

  • Next, they will have to enter their roll number and it will be followed by entering the security code which is present on the screen.
  • Then, they will have to click on the proceed button.
  • Now, UPTET 2018 result will display on the screen.

UPTET Qualifying Marks/Cut Off 2018

It is essential for the appeared candidates to achieve the cut-off marks as the selection will be on the basis of the cut off marks only. UPTET cut off marks is the minimum marks required in order to participate in the further process of selection. The authorities have already made an announcement for the cut-off. However, the qualifying marks are not the same for all categories.

Thus, the candidates who are from unreserved and general category have to score at least 90 marks out of 150 marks in order to qualify TET. On the other hand, the candidates of the reserved category need to score 83 marks for qualifying TET.


Candidates qualifying in UPTET and getting the placement as teachers in primary/junior schools in the state will get a pay of Rs.27670, which includes a basic pay of Rs.13500 plus a DA of Rs.13500 and an HRA of Rs.670.

In the case of candidates selected for UP Assistant Teacher position, the pay band will be 9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs.4200.

Eligibility Certificate

The eligibility certificate for TET is applicable for the duration of 5 years from the date of the announcement of the result. The eligibility certificate can be obtained by the qualified candidates from the District Education & Training Center. However, the candidates need to carry the original copy of UPTET hall ticket 2018 along with the photo ID card.  

Duplicate Eligibility Certificate

In case the eligibility certificate is either lost or destroyed, then the candidates can surely apply for the duplicate. He/she can claim for it from the Board. In case, there are any errors in the personal information, even then also, the candidates can apply for it.

The interested candidates need to have the following documents when he/she applies for the duplicate eligibility certificate:

  • Caste Certificate
  • 10th mark sheet photocopy
  • proof of appearing in TET
  • Aadhaar Card
  • PWD certificate (if it is applicable)
  • Affidavit of Rs. 10/-
  • Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- which should be drawn in favor of Secretary Examination Regulation Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad.
