UPTET 2021 exam pattern and syllabus have been released. UPTET 2021 will be an eligibility test conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for teaching in classes 1 to 5 (Paper 1) and 6-8 (paper 2) in Government schools of Uttar Pradesh. UPTET Examination has been scheduled to be conducted on 22nd December 2021.
UPTET 2021 will consist of 2 papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. The candidates to be eligible for the primary level teacher (class 1 to 5) need to give Paper I and for the upper primary level teacher (class 6 to 8) Paper II, and both the papers to be eligible for both primary and upper primary teachers.
UPTET Paper 1 or Paper 2 will have 150 multiple choice questions to be solved in 2 hours 30 minutes. - UPTET 2021 examination will be conducted in an offline mode.
- UPTET 2021 paper 1 exam will be for 150 marks containing 150 Multiple Choice Questions.
- The Question will be divided into five different sections which include Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 ((English/ Urdu/ Sanskrit), Environmental Studies and Mathematics.
- Each section of the question paper will carry 30 marks. Each Question will carry 1 mark.
- The total time duration allotted to complete the questions paper will be 150 minutes.
- The question paper will be in Hindi as well as in the English Language.
- There will be no negative marking in the Examination.

- The total time duration of the UPTET 2021 Paper 2 Examination will be 2 Hours 30 minutes where the candidates have to answer 150 questions of 150 Marks.
- The offline exam will consist of Objective Type Questions.
- The Question will be divided into 4 different sections which include Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 ((English/ Urdu/ Sanskrit), Science and Mathematics or Social Studies.
- The question will be in Hindi and English both except in English Exam.
- 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking.

UPTET Exam Date 2021
The UPTET 2021 examination is going to be held on 22.12.2021 in two sessions. The first session will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for the paper I while in the second session for paper II will be held 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
UPTET Qualifying Process
The candidates who will successfully apply for the UPTET 2021 examination will have to appear in the written exam of either Paper I for Primary Level Teacher (Class 1 to 5) or Paper II for Upper Primary Level Teachers (Class 6 to 8) or both.
The exam conducting authority will prescribe minimum qualifying marks that required to be secured by the candidate in the written examination. The qualifying process will be based on securing the minimum marks prescribed in the written exam. Mentioned below are the minimum qualifying marks required in order to qualify the UPTET 2021 Examination.

UPTET Certificate
Qualified candidates will be awarded with UPTET Eligibility Certificate which will be valid for 5 years from the day of declaration of results. The candidate can further apply for the teaching post in government schools in Uttar Pradesh only by providing the UPTET Eligibility Certificate.
The candidate can get their UPTET Certificate by providing their UPTET 2021 Admit card and Valid Photo ID to the District Education Board. Candidate can reappear in the subsequent UPTET to improve their score.
