The release of result for XAT 2023 will happen on the official website of the XAT @ http://www.xatonline.in. Candidates can also expect the result in the last week if not the third week of January 2023. The convening authority will release the result on the official website. The answer key for XAT 2023 will be released after one week of the XAT 2023 test. As the test is planned to be held on 5th of January 2023, the answer key will be released on the 12th of January 2023 tentatively. - Once the answer key is released, you will find a link right on the home page of XAT Online
- When you click on this link, you will be asked to enter your XAT ID and your password. Once you login, you can download the answer key to your system.
The answer key will help you judge the score you will get in advance. When you judge the score in advance, you can plan your admission accordingly.
Objection To The Answer Key
You can raise objections to the answers provided in the XAT Answer key. The objections can be made by sending an email to admis@xlri.ac.in, in which you have to specify the subject line as “Objection” and have to mention the following details in the body of email

How To Check/Download Result?
The process to follow to check the XAT result is as follows:
- Visit the website of XAT Online at www.xatonline.in
- On the website, you will find a link on the home page, once the result is out
- When you click on the result link, you will be asked to enter your login credentials
- When you do this, you will be taken to a page that contains the list of XAT IDs of candidates, who have been shortlisted from the written test for further rounds of the selection process.
- If you find your ID as shortlisted, you can download your scorecard after some days.

XAT Cut Off
To qualify the XAT 2023 candidate have to score the minimum qualifying marks or cut off marks which will be decided by the Xavier School of Management. Expected Cut Off For 2023 For Top Colleges
It is expected that SPJIMR – Mumbai, XIM – Bhubaneshwar and IMT – Ghaziabad will expect a cut-off of more than 90 percentiles in XAT 2023. In the same way the expected cut-off for XAT 2023 for other top colleges is listed below:
- IFMR, Chennai – 80
- LIBA, Chennai – 80
- FORE, New Delhi – 85.25
- KJ Somaiya, Mumbai – 85
- GIM, Goa – 85
In the same way, MICA, IRMA, Great Lakes and TAPMI are expected to set a cut-off of more than 80% for admission to business management programmes in the year 2023. Further, is expected that the cut-off for SDMIMD will be 74. For many other institutions like BIMTECH, IMT, JIMS, AIMS, ISB & M the expected cut-off is more than 70.
XAT Selection Process 2023
XAT Selection process will be started after the release of XAT 2023 Result. The selection process will consist of Group Discussion, Essay Writing, and personal interview. Candidates have to qualify in all the stages of the selection process in order to make their place in the final merit list of XAT 2023. You should also know that the participating institutes could follow an independent selection process and determine how to use XAT score to give admission, as there is no common admission process under XAT. For final selection, performance of the candidates in all the stages of the selection process, their past academic scores, etc. will also be considered by the participating institutes.
