About 1^st PUC Exam 2018

PUC stands for pre-university certificate. After passing SSLC examinations in the state of Karnataka, candidates can take admission to PUC course of 2 years duration. Every year, nearly 10 lakh students take admission to this course. Two year’s PUC course in Karnataka is available in three popular streams that are Humanities, Science and Commerce. Science is the most popular stream among students as after clearing PUC’s examinations with science subjects a student can take admission to any UG/diploma course.

This year’s Karnataka 1^st PUC annual examination was held in 2 sessions. The first was the morning session i.e. from 09:00 AM to 12:15 PM and the second was the afternoon session i.e. from 02:00 PM to 5:15 PM. The examination was started from 8^th of February 2018 and concluded on 21^st of February 2018.

To pass the 1^st PUC exam, candidates have to obtain at least 30 marks in every subject along with overall 35%.
