Nationality
Only Indian citizens are eligible for the NABARD Development Assistant / Development Assistant (Hindi) Post.
Age Limit
The applicant must be between the ages of 18 years and 35 years. In other words, the applicants must not have been born before 02-09-1986 and not after 01-09-2003.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess the following minimum educational qualification to be eligible for NABARD Development Assistant Recruitment 2022
Development Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
Development Assistant (Hindi)
- Bachelor’s degree in English / Hindi medium with English and Hindi as compulsory or elective subjects. They should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
OR
- Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks
AND
- They must be able to translate from Hindi to English and English to Hindi

NABARD Development Assistant Exam Pattern 2022
The exam pattern will be different for the Development Assistant and Development Assistant Hindi as mentioned below.
- The Preliminary and Main exam will be conducted in online mode
- All the questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi and English (except for the Hindi / English Language)
- The preliminary exam will be qualifying in nature and only serve as a screening test, the marks scored in preliminary will not be considered for final selection
- There will be negative marking, for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks assigned to that question will be deducted

Language Proficiency Test

- If they produce a class 10th or 12th mark sheet, indicating official language as one of the subjects then they will be exempted from the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
- Qualifying the LPT is essential as the candidates who are not proficient in the official language will be disqualified from the selection process.

NABARD Development Assistant Selection Process 2022
NABARD Development Assistant Selection Process will consist of the following stages
Preliminary Exam
All the candidates who successfully apply online will be called to appear for the preliminary exam which will be conducted for 100 marks and there will be different papers for Development Assistant and Development Assistant Hindi. The Preliminary Exam will be qualifying in nature and marks scored in it will not be considered for final selection.
Main Exam
Those who qualify in the preliminary exam will have to appear for the main exam which will be conducted for 200 marks. Similar to the preliminary exam, in the main exam, there will be different papers for the Development Assistant and Development Assistant Hindi.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) / Document Verification
After the main exam, the qualifying candidates will be called for Language Proficiency Test and document verification. The candidates who have not taken the official language as one of the subjects during the 10th or 12th class will have to go through the Language Proficiency Test.
Final Selection
Those who qualify in the Main Exam and LPT will become eligible for final selection. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of candidates in the main exam only. Those who get placed in the final merit list will be considered for appointment on the post of NABARD Development Assistant.

NABARD Development Assistant Admit Card 2022 will be issued on the official website at least one week before the exam. Separate call letters will be released for the preliminary and main exams. NABARD Development Assistant Cut Off Marks
NABARD will release the region-wise cut-off marks which will decide on the basis of the number of vacancies and total marks obtained by all the candidates in a particular region. Selected Candidates will receive basic pay of Rs. 14,650/- per month (including two advance increments) in the scale of Rs.13150 -750 -15400 – 900 -19000 -1200-26200 -1300-28800-1480-33240 -1750 -34990 (20 years) plus other allowances, like, DA, HRA, City Compensatory Allowance, TA, etc.
