As per SSC annual calendar 2021, SSC will conduct several examinations such as Constables (GD) in CAPFs Examination, SI & ASI examination, Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination, Combined Graduate Level Examination, Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical) Examination, Combined Jr. Hindi Translator in Subordinate Office/Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, examination for Selection Posts, Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, etc.
Interested candidates can apply online for the upcoming examinations after checking the SSC eligibility conditions. Staff Selection Commission is a sister organization of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) under the Government of India. 1. SSC MTS 2021
SSC Multi Tasking Staff 2020 notification has been released on 5 Feb 2021 and the apply online process commences from 5th Feb and the last date of the application form is 21st March 2021.
SSC conducts a competitive exam for Multi Tasking Staff, a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various ministries/ departments, and offices of GOI and states/UTs.

SSC MTS Eligibility
SSC MTS eligibility is given below.
SSC MTS Age Limit
Candidates must be 18-25 years as on 1st Aug 2021 (or) 18-27 years as on 1st Aug 2020 based on the post applying for.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10th/ Matriculation exam or possess an equivalent qualification.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern
SSC MTS exam will be held in 2 stages, Paper I CBT and Paper-II Descriptive Test.
Paper I
- Paper I CBT will consist of 4 parts, Part I – General English, Part II – General Intelligence & Reasoning, Part III – Numerical Aptitude, Part IV – General Awareness.
- Each part will have 25 MCQs for 25 Marks. The total questions will be 100 for 100 marks. The time duration will be 90 minutes.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
Paper-II
Paper-II will be a descriptive test of a Short Essay/ Letter in English or any other language included in the 8th Schedule of the constitution. The time duration will be for 30 minutes.
Paper-II will be qualifying in nature and is conducted to test elementary language skills. However, if more than one candidate scores the same marks in Paper I, the marks in Paper-II will be considered to break a tie.
Selection Process
SSC MTS selection will be based on merit in the Paper I CBT only subject to qualifying in Paper-II.
Salary
SSC MTS payscale will be in the Pay Band 1 (Rs 5200-20,200) with Grade Pay 1800.
2. SSC GD Constable 2021
SSC GD Constable notification will be released on 25th March 2021 (Postponed) to conduct an open competitive examination for filling up the posts of Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Through the SSC GD Constable examination, SSC will recruit nearly 54,953 candidates for the posts of Constable in CAPFs. Further details on vacancies will be provided in the SSC Constable notification.

SSC GD Constable Eligibility
Candidates applying for Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in AR Exam must meet the following eligibility criteria.
Citizenship/ Nationality
The applicant should be an Indian citizen. Vacancies are UT/state wise hence an applicant must submit a domicile or permanent resident certificate against her / his UT / State.
Age Limit
As of 01 Aug 2021, applicants’ age should be between 18 to 23 years i.e. they must have been born between 02 Aug 1998 to 01 Aug 2003. However, age relaxation is applicable to different categories of candidates in accordance with the Government orders.
Educational Qualifications (As on 01 Aug 2021)
The applicants should have passed class 10th examinations from a recognized Board or University.
Physical / Medical Standards
For the post of Constable / Rifleman, candidates must be physically and medically fit as per the rules prescribed by the SSC.
Scheme of Exam & Selection Process
SSC Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in AR Exam consists of the following stages
- Computer-Based examination
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Medical Examination / Document Verification
The computer-based examination will be an objective type test having 100 MCQs, each of 1 mark. On the basis of the order of merit to be prepared after considering marks in the CBT, candidates will be shortlisted and called for PET and PST.
Candidates who qualify in PET / PST will be shortlisted for a Detailed medical examination (DME) (mandatory but of qualifying nature). At the time of DME, CAPFs will collect required eligibility certificates/documents from the candidates and verify with original documents.
The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of aggregate marks scored by them in the CBT and preferences of CAPFs / organizations exercised by them.
SSC Constable / Rifleman Salary
Candidates selected for the posts of Constable / Rifleman will be eligible for a pay scale of Rs 21700- 69100/-.

SSC Selection Posts Eligibility
Candidates who wish to apply for any post must check the SSC Selection Posts notification to check and confirm all the eligibility conditions such as nationality /citizenship, age limit/relaxation, educational qualifications, etc. SSC Selection Posts eligibility conditions are as follows.
Age Limit
As on 01 Jan 2020, the applicant should be 18 years old but has not acquired the age of 30 years. However, relaxation in the upper Age-limit admissible to eligible categories of applicants as per the existing rules of GOI. For more details, please go through the SSC selection posts notification.

As on 01 Jan 2021, the applicant must have obtained the educational qualification prescribed for the post s/he is applying for. Post-wise minimum EQ is given in Annexure-I of recruitment notice.

An applicant should be in good mental and physical health; also, free from any bodily/physical defect that can affect his / her duties as an officer of the service.
Scheme of Exam & Selection Process
Selection of candidates for the Selection Posts will be made through a computer-based test having MCQs. To qualify CBT, candidates belonging to UR category will have to score at least 35% marks (30% marks for OBC and 25% marks for other categories).
CBT will have 100 MCQs, each of 2 marks, and maximum marks are 200. For each incorrect answer, 0.50 marks will be deducted as negative marking. The total time duration to solve all 100 MCQs will be 60 minutes. CBT will have an equal number of questions i.e. 25 MCQs from each of the following subjects
- English Language (Basic Knowledge)
- Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill)
- General Awareness
- General Intelligence
Candidates qualified in CBT will be called for document verification followed by a skill test (wherever applicable). Once the skill test will be conducted, the SSC will prepare a merit list on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the CBT. The final selection will be made on the basis of the order of merit in the merit list.

4. SSC JHT 2021
SSC JHT 2021 notification will be released soon to conduct Computer Based Combined JHT/ Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2021. Through this competitive examination, SSC will recruit candidates for the following posts.

5. SSC CPO 2021
The SSC CPO 2021 notification will be released on 17th June 2021 (Delayed) to conduct an open competitive CBT for recruitment of SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and ASI in CISF.
As per the notification, this examination will consist of Paper-I, PST / PET, Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates who want to secure a position will have to appear and qualify in each stage of the examination.
Interested candidates must apply online before the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 16 July 2021. Further details have been given in its official notification.

Candidates applying online to appear for SSC SI & ASI exam must check the eligibility criteria as shown below.
Age Limit
As of 01 Jan 2022, applicants’ age should be between 20 to 25 years. However, age relaxation is applicable to different categories of candidates in accordance with the Government orders.
Educational Qualifications (As on 01 Jan 2022)
Candidates applying for any of the above said posts must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Male candidates applying for the post of SI in Delhi Police must have a valid motorcycle and car driving license (LMV) as of the date of PET / PMT. Otherwise, they can apply for all other posts in CAPFs.
Note- Candidates should have acquired the prescribed educational qualification as on 01 Jan 2021 otherwise they will not be eligible for SSC SI & ASI exam.
Physical & Medical Standards
Candidates applying for SSC SI & ASI exam must possess physical & medical standards as per guidelines given by SSC in the official notification.
Scheme Of Exam & Selection Process
SSC CPO SI & ASI exam will consist of the following stages of the examination
- Stage 1 – Paper I CBT
- Stage 2 – PST / PMT
- Stage 3 – Paper 2
- Stage 4 – Detailed Medical Examination
Paper 1 will be a computer-based test having 200 objective type questions equally distributed in four parts/tests which are as follows – English Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge & General Awareness, and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Each MCQ will of 1 mark. The total time duration to solve all 200 MCQs will be 2 hours.
Candidates who scored at least or above the cut-off marks to be fixed by SSC in Paper I will be called to appear for PET / PST and candidates who qualified in PET / PST will be called for Paper-II followed by a Detailed Medical Examination.
Paper-II will have 200 objective type questions with a maximum of 200 marks. The time duration will be 2 hours. MCQs to be asked in Paper-II will be from Subject – English Language & Comprehension.
Candidates qualified in the Medical examination will have to go through the Document Verification round. At the time of document verification, shortlisted candidates will have to submit all their documents in original for verification.
The final selection of candidates for the posts said in the notification will be made on the basis of aggregate marks scored by them in Paper I & Paper-II. Moreover, the preferences of posts exercise by candidates at the time of Document Verification and their merit position will be considered for the allocation of departments/forces.
Note – In Paper I & Paper II, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

SSC JE Exam Pattern and Selection Process
SSC JE will consist of 2 papers as follows
Paper I
SSC JE Paper I will be a computer-based test that has 200 objective type questions of 200 max. marks. Time to solve Paper I will be 2 hours. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted (negative marking).
Normalized marks scored in Paper I will be used for shortlisting of candidates to appear in Paper-II.
Paper-II
Paper-II will be a descriptive type of paper. Paper-II will be a written examination for a maximum of 300 marks. Time to solve Paper I will be 2 hours. Candidates who will be appearing for Paper-II can bring their own Steam table, Log tables, calculator, and slide rule.
Qualifying marks for both Paper I & Paper II
- For UR – 30%
- For OBC / EWS – 25%
- Others – 20%
Marks of Paper I & Paper II will be used for shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification. The final selection of candidates will take place on the basis of their performance in Paper I & Paper II along with the preferences of departments/posts exercised by them at the time of DV.
SSC JE Salary
On final selection, candidates of SSC JE will be eligible for the pay scale of Rs. 35400-112400/- in Level- 6 of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
7. SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ 2021
SSC will conduct an open competitive CBT to hire eligible candidates for the vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ available in several Organizations / Ministries / Departments in the GOI. SSC Steno 2021 notification will be released on 4th Aug 2021 and the exam will be scheduled from 1st – 3rd Dec 2021.

SSC Steno Eligibility
Candidates who want to secure a vacancy for a Stenographer make sure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking. Therefore, examinees are recommended to keep this in mind at the time of answering MCQs asked in Tier I.
Candidates qualified in Tier I will be called for the Skill Test in Stenography to be held at the SSC’s Sub-regional / regional offices or at other Centre(s) decided by the Commission. Tier II Skill test in Stenography is qualifying in nature. Candidates qualified in Skill Test will be considered for final selection and called for document verification.
The final selection of candidates for the vacancies will be made on the basis of merit-cum-preferences of Posts/ Departments given by the candidates.
SSC Steno Salary
Candidates selected for SSC Steno post will get a salary of Rs. 23,000/- per month (approx.) They will also be eligible for several allowances including DA, TA, HRA, etc.
8. SSC CGL 2021 (Combined Graduate Level Examination)
The Staff Selection Commission will release a notification on 15 Sep 2021 to conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination. Through CGLE 2021, the SSC will fill up several vacancies of Group ‘C’ & Group ‘D’ posts available in various Organizations / Departments / Ministries in the Government of India. The exact number of vacancies will be out nearly a month ago the declaration of the final results.

9. SSC CLSL 2021 (Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam)
The Staff Selection Commission will release the CHSL 2021 notification on 30 November 2021. SSC will conduct SSC CHSL competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA), Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operators for various Departments / Ministries / Offices of the Government of India.
The number of vacancies to be filled through CHSL 2021 will be determined and disclosed in due course. Portal for online registration and application submission of CHSL 2021 exam will open up on 30 Nov 2021. Candidates who want to apply for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2021 are required to fill and submit an online application through the website https://ssc.nic.in.

CHSL Eligibility
Candidates who want to apply for CHSL 2020 must check CHSL eligibility to confirm whether they meet the required conditions or not. CHSL eligibility conditions in detail have been provided in the CHSL notification.
Age Limit
As on 01 Jan 2021, applicants must have acquired the age of 18 years but they should not be more than 27 years in age i.e. applicants must have been born between 02 Jan 1994 to 01 Jan 2003.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern and Selection Process
SSC CHSL will be a 3-tiered exam
- Tier I Computer Based Examination
- Tier-II Descriptive Paper
- Tier III Skill Test / Typing Test
Tier I Computer-based examination will be an objective type test that will have 100 MCQs of 100 maximum marks, equally distributed in four parts i.e. General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill), General Intelligence and English Language (Basic Knowledge).
On the basis of performance in the Tier-I examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier-II examination. Tier II of SSC CHSL will be a descriptive paper for 100 marks to be held in the ‘Pen and Paper’ mode. In the descriptive paper, candidates will have to write a letter/application of approximately 150-200 words and an Essay of 200-250 words. Qualifying marks would be 33%.
On the basis of performance in the Tier-I + Tier-II examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier III examination which will be qualifying in nature. Tier III examination will be a skill test and typing test to be conducted in the cities where the Commission’s regional offices are located. The Skill Test will be for the data entry operator and typing test for PA / SA and LDC / JSA.
Candidates qualified in the Tier III examination will be called to appear for Document verification. The final selection of candidates for the available posts/vacancies will be made on the basis of their performance in Tier I + Tier II examinations. Preference of departments/posts provided by candidates at the time of document verification would also be considered at the time of final selection and allocation of offices/departments/ministries.

SSC Apply Online 2021 : Application Form
Candidates who wish to appear for the examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission are required to submit an application in online mode through the Commission’s website i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/.

How To Fill the SSC Application Form?
SSC online application process will be the same for all examinations held by SSC. The procedure for filling the online application is given below.
Part I: One-Time Registration
- Open the official website of SSC @ ssc.nic.in/
- The homepage will open up
- Now, find and click on the ‘Register Now’ link given in the ‘Login’ Section
- Enter and verify your basic details such as ‘Aadhaar Number’ or any other ‘ID Number’, ‘Name’, ‘Father’s name’, ‘Mother’s name’, and ‘Date of birth’
- Select and verify ‘Education Board’, ‘Roll Number’, ‘Year of passing’, ‘Gender’ and ‘level of educational qualification’
- Enter and verify ‘Mobile number’ and ‘Email ID’
- Then select ‘State / UT of permanent address’
- Save all the entered details then confirm your email ID and mobile number
- On confirmation, you will get a system-generated registration ID and password on your mobile number & email ID
- Use your registration ID and password to log in then change your password on 1st login
- After changing your password, you will have to login again using a new/changed password
- Log in to complete your online registration process
- Enter information about your category and nationality
- Then provide other information such as visible identification marks, disabilities (if any), contact details, etc.
- Enter your present and permanent address then go further to complete the last section/part of the registration process
- Now, upload your latest photo then signature as per the specifications prescribed by SSC
- If you do not have entered Aadhaar Enrolment Number / Aadhaar Number then upload the digital file of your left-hand thumb impression
- Save all the entered information then review before clicking on the ‘Final Submit’ tab
- After clicking on the ‘Final Submit’ tab you will receive dissimilar OTPs on your email ID and mobile number. Enter each of them to complete your online registration process.
- Once your online registration process will be completed, proceed further to complete your online application form (Part II)
Part II : Online Application Form
- Use your registered email ID and password to login into the online system
- After login, find and click on the tab ‘Apply’ available against ‘name of exam’ to which you want to apply (Apply link available under ‘Latest Notifications’ tab)
- Few non-editable information will be already filled
- Provide your choice/preference for examination centers
- If you were a serviceman then enter the appropriate info
- If you want to avail of the service of scribe and are eligible as per the rules then enter details about the need of a scribe

SSC Application Fee & Mode of Payment
Ex-servicemen (ESM), persons with disability (PwD), applicants belonging to SC / ST category, and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 100/-. Candidates who are eligible for payment of the application fee can use any of the following modes
- Online mode using RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro Credit or Debit cards / Net Banking / BHIM UPI
- The offline mode through SBI challan (candidates will have to generate an e-challan while submitting the online application and submit with the amount payable in cash at any branch of SBI within the Bank working hours)

SSC Exam Pattern 2021
In each of the exams being conducted by SSC, there will be a computer-based test having multiple-choice questions to be solved in the prescribed time duration. SSC follows the provision of negative marking in CBT therefore candidates should be careful while answering questions of CBT.
Some SSC exams have even also consist of descriptive paper, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), Detailed Medical Examination (DME), and Document Verification. SSC Selection Process 2021
SSC Selection process depends on the stages of examination for which you are applying. In some exams being held by SSC, the final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of marks in the CBT.
In exams with two or more tiers, the selection process is different. Overall, the candidate’s selection depends on his / her performance in CBT and exams of other tiers (wherever applicable).
SSC Admit Card 2021
Before conducting any examination, SSC releases admit cards/admission certificates to all the eligible candidates through its official regional websites. SSC never sends admit cards by courier/post for any stage of examination.
Nearly 7 to 10 days before the date of examination, candidates can download the admit card through the website of the respective Regional/ Sub-Regional office of the Commission.

Documents Required for SSC Exam
Candidates who will be appearing for any stage of examination to be held by SSC will have to bring the admit cards along with any photo ID in original into the examination hall otherwise they will not be permitted to write an exam.
