NABARD Grade A Officer 2022 Application Fees
No application fees for SC/ ST/ PWBD candidates. They will have to pay only intimation charges i.e. Rs. 150/-. All other candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs. 800/- towards their NABARD Grade A Officer application fee and intimation charges.

NABARD Grade A Officer Exam Pattern
Phase I Preliminary Examination
Firstly, Phase I preliminary examination will be conducted. It will be an online objective type test of qualifying in nature. It will have the MCQs from the following subjects
- Reasoning
- English Language
- Computer Knowledge
- General awareness
- Quantitative aptitude
- Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)
- Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India)
A preliminary examination will be conducted for a total of 200 marks with a time duration of 120 minutes. Candidates who manage to pass this screening test will be called for Phase II main examination.

Phase II Main Examination
This examination will be held online and will have both types of questions (descriptive & objective). Firstly, Paper I descriptive paper will be held online through the keyboard.
Paper I descriptive paper on General English will consist of questions on essay writing, letter writing, paragraph writing, comprehension, and report writing. Paper I will be of 100 marks and 1 ½ hrs. will be time duration.
Paper-II of Phase II main examination will be an online objective test to be conducted for 100 marks with 1 ½ hrs. time duration. Paper-II for the post of AM (RDBS) General will have MCQs on Social & Economic Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) whereas Paper-II for the rest disciplines of AM (RDBS) post will have MCQs related to that particular discipline.
Note – in both phase I and Phase II, negative marking will be applicable. For every wrong answer, 1/4th of marks allotted to that question will be deducted.
Phase III Interview
Candidates who qualify phase II examination by scoring at least or above cutoffs in individual tests and total scores shall be shortlisted then called for interview. The interview will be held for 25 marks.

NABARD Grade A Selection Process
- Phase I preliminary examination will be qualifying in nature. To qualify the preliminary examination, candidates will have to score at least or above cutoffs in individual tests and total scores.
- Phase II main examination will be conducted to shortlist candidates for interview. Those who score cutoffs in individual tests and total scores shall be eligible for the Phase III Interview.
- Scores obtained in Phase II main examination will be considered while preparing the final merit list for selection
- Final selection will be done through ranking to be prepared after considering marks obtained by candidates in phase II main examination and interview
