NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 : Notification, Syllabus

NABARD Grade A Officer notification 2021 will be released on 15 Jan 2021 for the vacancies of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ in the RDBS in NABARD. To apply, eligible candidates will have to fill and submit an online application through Bank’s website @ www.nabard.org.

Online application along with requisite fee must be submitted before the last date i.e. 3 Feb 2021. Application Form submitted in any other mode will not be accepted.

NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Only Indian Citizens can apply for the post of AM in NABARD.

Educational Qualification

As on 1st Jan 2021, candidates must possess the following educational qualification.

Age Limit

As on 01 Jan 2021, candidates must have been born between 21 and 30 years OR born not earlier than 02 Jan 1990 and not later than 01 Jan 1999.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit

The following relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for certain categories.

NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 Application Form

NABARD Grade A Officer online application form will be available from 15th Jan to 3rd Feb 2021. Interested candidates can apply for AM in any one discipline of their choice.

How To Apply Online for NABARD Grade A Officer?

Application Registration

  • Open Bank’s website or click here www.nabard.org
  • Open ‘Career’ page
  • Find and click on the ‘Apply Online’ link
  • Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ tab
  • Enter name, contact details then email ID
  • Provisional registration number and password will be displayed and sent to the provided email ID and mobile number

Filling in Online Application and Uploading of Documents

  • Fill the following details in the online application
    • Basic details such as category, disability status and related details, religion, date of birth, gender, marital status, father’s / mother’s names, address for correspondence, permanent address, etc.
    • Educational qualification details (as on 01 Jan 2021)
    • Work experience details, if any
    • Other mandatory details
  • Validate details then click on ‘Save & Next’ tab
  • Upload scanned copies of photo and signature
  • Click on ‘Save & Next’ button

Payment of Application Fee

  • The payment page will be shown
  • Select any option
  • Enter details of selected option
  • Confirm details then click on the ‘Make Payment’ tab
  • Follow rest instructions carefully for online payment of fees

Once payment is done, candidates will be able to print payment e – receipt along with the final submitted online application form.

  • Preferred dimensions – 140 x 60 pixels
  • Size – 10 kb to 20 kb
  • Format – JPG or JPEG

NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 Application Fees

No application fees for SC/ ST/ PWBD candidates. They will have to pay only intimation charges i.e. Rs. 150/-. All other candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs. 800/- towards their NABARD Grade A Officer application fee and intimation charges.

NABARD Grade A Officer Exam Pattern

Phase I Preliminary Examination

Firstly, Phase I preliminary examination will be conducted. It will be an online objective type test of qualifying in nature. It will have the MCQs from the following subjects

  • Reasoning
  • English Language
  • Computer Knowledge
  • General awareness
  • Quantitative aptitude
  • Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)
  • Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India)

A preliminary examination will be conducted for a total of 200 marks with a time duration of 120 minutes. Candidates who manage to pass this screening test will be called for Phase II main examination.

Phase II Main Examination

This examination will be held online and will have both types of questions (descriptive & objective). Firstly, Paper I descriptive paper will be held online through the keyboard.

Paper I descriptive paper on General English will consist of questions on essay writing, letter writing, paragraph writing, comprehension, and report writing. Paper I will be of 100 marks and 1 ½ hrs. will be time duration.

Paper-II of Phase II main examination will be an online objective test to be conducted for 100 marks with 1 ½ hrs. time duration. Paper-II for the post of AM (RDBS) General will have MCQs on Social & Economic Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) whereas Paper-II for rest disciplines of AM (RDBS) post will have MCQs related to that particular discipline.

Note – in both phase I and Phase II, negative marking will be applicable. For every wrong answer, 1/4th marks allotted to that question will be deducted.

Phase III Interview

Candidates who qualify phase II examination by scoring at least or above cutoffs in individual test and total score shall be shortlisted then called for interview. The interview will be held for 25 marks.

NABARD Grade A Selection Process

  • Phase I preliminary examination will be qualifying in nature. To qualify the preliminary examination, candidates will have to score at least or above cutoffs in individual tests and total scores.
  • Phase II main examination will be conducted to shortlist candidates for interview. Those who score cutoffs in individual tests and total scores shall be eligible for the Phase III Interview.
  • Scores obtained in Phase II main examination will be considered while preparing the final merit list for selection
  • Final selection will be done through ranking to be prepared after considering marks obtained by candidates in phase II main examination and interview

NABARD Grade A Call Letter

Call letter for Phase I / Phase II and Phase III will be in due course. Candidates eligible for appearing in any Phase of NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 recruitment will have to download their call letter through NABARD’s website.

How to Download Call Letter?

  • Open NABARD’s website or click here www.nabard.org
  • Click on ‘Career Notices’ tab
  • Find and click on the ‘Download call letter’ link
  • Enter registration number / roll number
  • Enter the password/date of birth
  • Submit details
  • Call letter will appear on the screen
  • Download and print it then paste a recent photo on the call letter

Document Required for Exam

In each phase of NABARD Grade A Officer recruitment, candidates will have to bring their call letter along with any of the following photo identities in original and photocopy

NABARD Grade A Officer 2021 Cutoff

NABARD Grade A Officer cutoffs for phase I, phase II, and final selection will be decided and disclosed by Bank after conducting an examination of each phase I.

NABARD Grade A Officer Salary

Basic pay – Rs.28150/- p.m. in the scale of 28150 – 1550(4) – 34350-1750(7) – 46600– EB -1750(4) – 53600-2000(1)- 55600. Applicable allowances are as follows
