SITEEE Syllabus 2019, Exam Pattern, Selection Process

SITEEE Syllabus 2019 : Knowing the SITEEE exam pattern and syllabus 2019 will help candidates prepare for the test with ease. SITEEE 2019 will be conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) in the 1st  week of May. SITEEE 2019 is earlier known as SET which is conducted to invite admissions to the different UG engineering courses. The application forms will be available in the 4th week of January 2019.

The duration of the SITEEE exam will be online for 2.5 hours and there will be 100 questions in total in the test. The syllabus for each part of the exam is made available on the official website of SIT. It is expected that the test will be conducted in the first week of May 2019.

Brief Structure

SET 2019 will be conducted in two sessions, morning and afternoon for 2.5 hours in online mode. The paper will have 150 MCQ’s (multiple choice) carrying 1 mark each, in which the aspirant has to select one correct answer from options given. There will not be any negative marking.  Since SET is an online exam, the candidates have to select on the key in the correct option on the computer screen. So it is important to practice and familiarise themselves with the online exam.

  • Mode Of Exam : Online mode only
  • Duration : Each test is for 150 minutes. No additional time will be given for candidates who are not attending on time.
  • Number Of Sessions : 2 sessions

Morning Session: 9:30 am to 12.00 noon (Reporting time: 07:30 am) Afternoon Session: 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm (Reporting time: 12:30 pm)

  • Type Of Questions : Objective type, each question will have 4 answers to choose. Candidates will have to select the correct one.
  • Marking Strategy : No negative marking for any wrong answer.

It is expected that the SITEEE 2019 will be conducted in the first week of May 2019.

SITEEE Selection Process

As the SIT Engineering institute belongs to the Symbiosis International University, students need not think that a centralized counselling will be conducted. No centralized counselling will be held by the Symbiosis International University for admission. Separate counselling will be held on different dates by each institute, which includes engineering institute as well. Candidates can get to know the Counselling schedule from the respective institute’s website.
