IES ISS written exam result 2021 is expected to be released in the month of October 2021 and the final merit list is expected to be released in the month of December 2021.
The UPSC will release the results of each stage separately followed by the final result that will mention the roll numbers and names of all those candidates who have been recommended for appointment. IES/ISS exam is held for recruiting candidates to the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service. UPSC will release the written exam result and invite candidates qualified in the written test for the viva voice round and release the final merit list.

Declaration Of IES/ISS Result 2021
After the written exam of IES/ISS, the commission will release the UPSC IES ISS result 2021 of the written exam on its official website in October 2021. The commission will release the list of all those candidates who have been selected for the viva voice cum document verification and personality test round.
Once the results for the written exam are released online, all those candidates whose roll numbers appear on that list will have to first fill in the detailed application form (DAF) and also upload the scanned copy of all the relevant documents. All successful candidates will first have to register themselves online on the relevant page of the commission before filling in the DAF. Candidates will then have to submit the DAF along with the scanned copy of the relevant documents.
The commission will release the dates and schedule of the viva voice round. Candidates will be called according to the date and time specified for the personality test cum viva voice round. Candidates who are successful in clearing the viva voice round along with producing all the relevant documents in original can then locate their names in the final merit list.
The commission will formulate the final merit list on the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in both the written exam as well as the viva voice and the available number of vacancies. The final merit list will constitute the name and roll number of the selected candidates recommended for appointment. The commission will also release the marks scored by all candidates within fifteen days after the result has been uploaded.

Candidates can view and download the IES/ ISS result 2021 in the following way.
- Log in to the official website of UPSC
- On the home page, in the ‘what’s new’ section look for the IES/ ISS result 2021.
- Click on the link that has been provided. The link will open a PDF file that will contain the name/roll numbers of those candidates who have qualified for the next round/recommended for appointment.
- Candidates can look for their name and/or roll number in that list and then download it for future reference.

- Click on the mark sheet of IES/ISS 2021
- Enter the roll number and date of birth and click on submit
- Marks of the candidate will be displayed.
Note :
- The final result will be strictly formulated on the basis of merit taking into account the marks scored by candidates in both the written exam as well as viva voice.
- The roll number wise interview cum viva voice schedule shall be released by the commission on its official website after the result of the written exam is uploaded.
- The UPSC will also set a cut off criteria for candidates of different categories after the successful commencement of each stage. Candidates need to meet the cut off criteria to be eligible for the next round.
