HP TET Eligibility 2019
The Eligibility of the candidates appearing for HPTET 2019 will depend on the subject they have chosen for HPTET 2019. The eligibility criteria for the candidates appearing for HPTET 2019 according to their selected test subjects are as mentioned below.
Educational Qualification
TGT (non-medical)
The candidates should have any one of the following qualification
- 50% marks in B.Sc. (NM) (45% for candidates who have passed B.Ed. before 30/08/2009) and 1 year B.Ed. (or B.Ed. Special Education)
- 50% marks in class 12th (or equivalent) and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or B.Sc. (NM) Ed.
TGT (Medical)
The candidates should have any one of the following qualification
- 50% marks in B.Sc. (Medical) (45% for candidates who have passed B.Ed. before 30/08/2009) and 1 year B.Ed. (or B.Ed. Special Education)
- 50% marks in class 12th (or equivalent) and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or B.Sc. (Medical) Ed.
TGT (Arts)
The candidates should have any one of the following qualification
- 50% marks in B.A./B.Com.(45% for candidates who have passed B.Ed. before 30/08/2009) and 1 year B.Ed. (or B.Ed. Special Education)
- 50% marks in class 12th (or equivalent) and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or B.A.Ed.
JBT
The candidates should have any one of the following qualification
- 50% marks in class 12th and 2 year JBT certificate or 45% marks in 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (or Special Education)
- 50% marks in class 12th and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.d)
- 2 year diploma in Elementary Education and Graduation.
Language Teacher
The candidates should have any one the following qualification
- 50% marks in BA with Hindi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (or B.Ed. Special Education) or 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- 50% marks in MA (Hindi) and 1 year Bachelor in Education.
- 50% marks in Parbhakar (Honors in Hindi) followed by B.A. examination with English and one additional subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education.
Punjabi Language Teacher
The candidates should have any one the following qualification
- 50% marks in BA with Punjabi as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (or B.Ed. Special Education) or 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- 50% marks in MA (Punjabi) and 1 year Bachelor in Education.
- 50% marks in Giani followed by B.A. examination with English and one additional subject. And 1 year Bachelor in Education.
Urdu Language Teacher
The candidates should have any one of the following qualification
- 50% marks in BA with Urdu as an elective subject and 1 year Bachelor in Education (or B.Ed. Special Education) or 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- 50% marks in MA (Urdu) and 1 year Bachelor in Education.
- 50% marks in B.T. followed by B.A. examination with English and one additional subject and 1-year Bachelor in Education.
Shastri
The candidate will need at least 50% marks in Shastri from any recognized institution/University
Note: Up to 5% relaxation in minimum educational qualification is allowed for the candidates of Himachal Pradesh belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PHH categories.
HP TET Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for appearing in the HPTET 2019. All the candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to appear for HPTET irrespective of their age.
HPTET 2019 Application Form
HPTPT 2019 online application form is expected to become available from the month of August, 2019. The candidates will only have the option of filling the application form online on the boards’ website to apply for HPTET 2019. The HPTET 2019 online application form can be filled by following the steps mentioned below.
How To Apply for HPTET 2019
Registration
- Visit Himachal Pradesh Education Board website @ hpbose.org
- Click on “TET-2019”
- Click on the “new registration”
- Enter the required details
- Application number will be generated
- Use this application number and date of birth to complete the online application process.
Online Application
- After registration, click on “Sign In”
- Use your application number and date of birth to sign in
- HPTET online application will open
- Fill all the required information
- Name
- Date of birth
- Mobile number
- Email Id
- Category
- Sub-category
- Gender
- Nationality
- Address, etc.
- Upload your documents
- Scanned Photograph in JPG format (20KB)
- Scanned Signature in JPG format (15KB)
- Check all the details carefully as no changes can be made after payment of fee
- Click on submit to proceed to fee payment page
- Pay the application fee
- Take print out of fee payment and application form confirmation page.
Note: Candidates have to send a copy of application confirmation page (last page of application form) to the Himachal Pradesh Secondary Board of Education office, to “The Section Officer (Departmental Examination) HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala (Kangra) 176213.”
HPTET 2019 Application Fee
The candidates who will be applying for HPTET through online application form will have to make payment of the application fee. The candidates belonging to the General category (unreserved) will have to make payment of Rs. 800/- and candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped) will have to make payment of only Rs. 500/-
