Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (GTET) 2021 examination will be conducted most probably in the month of December 2021. Gujarat TET Exam Pattern 2021
- Gujarat TET 2021 exam will be conducted in offline mode using the OMR Sheet.
- There will be two papers in the GTET 2021 exam i.e., Paper I and Paper II, both these papers will contain multiple choice objective questions.
- The candidates will get 90 minutes to answer all the questions.
- The candidates should also note that there will not be any negative marking so they can answer all the questions without the fear of losing any marks.
Brief Structure
- Gujarat Board of Education will conduct two papers for the Gujarat TET 2021.
- The candidates who want to become eligible to teach classes 1 to 5 will have to appear for Paper I.
- The candidates who aspire to become a teacher of classes 6 to 8 should appear for the Paper-II of GTET 2021.
- The question paper will contain 150 MCQs for 150 marks. The question paper will be divided into various sections based on different subjects.
- In Paper I all the sections will be compulsory.
- The candidates will have a choice to answer the questions from either Mathematics/Science or Social Study section in Paper II, but the rest of the sections (Subjects) will be compulsory.

Gujarat TET Selection Process 2021
GTET selection will be based on merit/ performance in the written test. Merit will be considered for deciding the qualifying marks of the candidate. Minimum qualifying marks will be decided category wise and the final merit list will be released.
The candidates who qualify the Gujarat TET 2021 exam will become eligible to apply for a teaching job in primary schools of Gujarat. Candidates should note that they will not get a teaching job just by qualifying the GTET 2021.
