TSPSC Junior Lecturer Exam Pattern 2022
TSPSC will conduct two exams, first, it will conduct a screening test and those who qualify the preliminary exam will be called to appear for the main exam. Preliminary Exam
The preliminary exam will be conducted for 150 marks and it will consist of 150 multiple choice objective type questions. The candidates will get 150 minutes to answer all the questions in the Preliminary exam. The preliminary exam will contain questions related to General Abilities, General Studies, and Basic Proficiency in English. Candidates have to qualify the preliminary exam to appear for the main examination.
Main Examination
TSPSC Junior Lecturer Main Exam will be divided into two papers. Paper I will be conducted for 100 marks. Paper I will have 100 multiple objective type questions for 90 minutes. Paper I will be common for all the candidates and it will contain questions related to Pedagogy across the Curriculum.
Paper-II of TSPSC Main Exam will consist of 200 multiple choice objective questions for 200 marks and candidates will get 180 minutes to answer all the questions. Paper-II will contain questions related to the subject chosen by the candidate at the time of filling the online application form.

TSPSC Junior Lecturer Exam Date
The date of Preliminary and main exam for TSPSC Junior Lecturer Recruitment 2022 will soon be released on the official website of TSPSC. It is expected that TSPSC JL Prelim exam will be held in September 2022 and the Main exam will be held in November 2022.

TSPSC Junior Lecturer Selection Process
There will be three stages in the TSPSC Junior Lecturer Selection process. In the first stage, candidates have to go through a screening test or preliminary exam and the qualifying candidates will be called to appear for the main exam. Those who qualify the main exam will have to attend the personal interview and after the interview, the final selection of the candidates will be made.
Preliminary Exam / Screening test
All candidates who apply for TSPSC Junior Lecturer Recruitment will have to appear for the preliminary exam which will be conducted for 150 marks and has multiple choice objective questions. TSPSC will create a merit list of qualifying candidates after conducting Preliminary exam and those who get shortlisted in the merit list will be called to appear for the Main Exam.
Main Exam
TSPSC Junior Lecturer main exam will be divided into two papers for a total of 300 marks. The main exam will also contain multiple choice objective questions and candidates will have to qualify the main exam in order to become eligible to appear for the final stage of the selection process. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance by TSPSC and those candidates whose name /roll numbers appear in the merit list will have to appear for the interview and document verification.
Interview and Document Verification
This will be the last stage in the TSPSC Junior Lecturer Selection process. Candidates have to bring their original documents and get them verified and on the same day, they will have to go through a personal interview. During the interview, personality, communication skills, mental abilities, and other skills of the candidates will be tested.
The interview will be conducted for 30 marks and for final selection, TSPSC will prepare a merit list according to the marks scored by candidates in the main exam and interview. Candidates who get shortlisted in the final merit list will be appointed on the post of TSPSC Junior Lecturer.
