1. Gujarat Police Constable (Armed & Unarmed) and Jail Sepoy
Gujarat Police Constable posts will be filled by conducting a Written Exam, PET / PMT, Medical Exam, and Interview. Candidates who successfully apply will be called to appear for a Written Exam consists of objective type MCQs for 100 marks. Written
The exam will be divided into three sections, i.e. General Knowledge / Current Affairs section for 50 marks, Numerical Ability for 35 marks, and Reasoning Ability for 15 marks, for a total of 100 marks.
Candidates who qualify the Written Exam will be called for the Physical Standard and Efficiency Test, during which the physical measurement of candidates will be taken. For the Physical Efficiency Test, male candidates have to run 5 km in 25 minutes and female candidates have to run for 1600 meters in 9 minutes 30 seconds.
Candidates who qualify the PET / PMT will have to go through a Medical Examination. Only those candidates who will be declared medically fit will be called for Personal Interview / Document Verification.
Candidates who qualify the Personal Interview round and successfully get their documents verified will be shortlisted for final selection.

2. Gujarat Police Sub Inspector
Gujarat Police Sub Inspector Recruitment will be a 4 stage process. First, all the applicants will be called for the Physical Standard Test which will be qualifying in nature. During the physical test, the height, chest, and weight of candidates will be measured and they will have to perform physical tasks to show their physical efficiency.
Male candidates have to run for 800 m in 3 minutes 10 seconds and for 5 km in 25 minutes. Female candidates will have to run 1600 m in 9 minutes to qualify the Physical Efficiency Test.
Those who qualify the Physical Standard and Efficiency Test will have to go through a Written Exam consist of 4 papers, i.e. Gujarati Language, English Language, General Knowledge, Law, and Order. All papers will consist of objective type MCQs and the duration will be 2 hours for each paper. Both the Language papers will be 75 marks each and the rest will be 100 marks each for a total of 350 marks.
Medical Examination of candidates who qualify the Written Exam will be done and they will be called for the final round of the selection process, i.e. Interview / Document Verification which will be conducted for 50 marks.
After the interview, a final merit list will be prepared on the basis of 400 marks i.e. aggregate marks scored by candidates in Written Exam and Interview and those who get placed in the merit list will be appointed on the post of Gujarat Police Sub Inspector (SI).
