HPTET Syllabus 2022 : Exam Pattern, Selection Process

HP TET 2022 exam is expected to be held in September 2022. Important information related to the HPTET exam pattern and syllabus is provided here. The date of the examination will be announced on the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Educational board. Candidates who will be appearing for the HPTET 2022 examination should know all the important aspects of the HPTET examination.

HP TET 2022 Important Dates

The candidates who will be appearing for the HPTET 2022 examination should keep note of the following important dates.

HPTET Exam Pattern 2022

  • HPTET 2022 examination will be held offline on the OMR sheet. The question paper will be divided into four sections and all the questions will be objective/multiple-choice.
  • The candidates will get 150 minutes to answer 150 questions, for each correct answer they will be awarded 1 mark and no marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
  • The candidates have to score at least 60% marks in order to qualify the HPTET 2022 examination.

HP TET Syllabus 2022

Candidates who appear for HPTET 2022 will have to prepare for the examination on the basis of the syllabus mentioned here.

Language I

Reading unseen passages – two passages one prose or drama and one poem with questions on grammar, inference, verbal ability, and Comprehension (prose passage may be literary, narrative, scientific, or discursive)

HP TET Exam Date 2022

The HPTET 2022 examination will be conducted most probably in the month of September 2022. The official date will be updated here as soon as it is announced. The candidates should also keep in touch with the Himachal Pradesh education Board’s website to get the latest information about the HPTET 2022.

HPTET Selection Process

HPTET Selection Process will be based on merit in the written test. Candidates securing marks prescribed by the board as per their community will be issued a qualifying certificate. Candidates who qualify the HPTET 2022 examination will become eligible to apply for a teacher’s position at any school which is operated by the Himachal Pradesh government or local authorities.
