UPSC is inviting applications from the eligible candidate to fill the posts of Chemist (Group A) under the Geological Survey of India and Scientist B [Hydrogeology/Chemical/GeoPhysics] Group A under the Central Ground Water Board.
The application form will be released on the official website of UPSC @ upsconline.nic.in on 21st October 2022 and it will remain available to be filled till 11th October 2022.

Candidates willing to apply for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientists Exam 2023 will have to fulfill the below-mentioned minimum eligibility criteria as set by the Union Public Service Commission.

Only the candidates who belong to any one of the following categories will be able to apply

In order to apply the candidates should be at least 21 years old and they should also not be older than 31 years of age. The age limit for a Hydrogeologist post will be 34 years.

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam Application Fee
Candidates who will apply for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientists Exam will have to pay Rs. 200/- as application fee. The candidates who belong to SC / ST / PwBD category and women will be exempted from the payment of the application fee.
The payment of the UPSC CGGE Application Fee can be made online or offline mode. Candidates can pay the application fee with internet banking, credit/debit card, or cash. To make payment through cash, candidates will have to select the “Pay by Cash” option and take a printout of Pay-in-slip and submit the application fee at the nearest SBI Branch.
