UPTET 2022 Syllabus : UPTET 2022 exam pattern, syllabus, and selection process are explained here. To prepare for the UPTET 2022 examination, candidates must check the exam pattern and download the syllabus Pdf to prepare for the examination. The written test will be conducted in pen and paper mode for 2 categories, Paper 1 for the Primary level and Paper 2 for the Upper primary level.
The written exam of both the papers will be conducted on the same day i.e. 22 Dec 2022 in two shifts. Paper 1 & Paper 2 will have 150 MCQs each of 1 mark and there is no negative marking. The medium of the exam will be both Hindi and English except for the section on the English Language.
UPTET 2022 exam will be organized and conducted by Examination Regulatory Authority UP Prayagraj to decide the eligibility of candidates at both primary & upper primary levels. UPTET 2022 exam will be held in 75 examination centers located across the state.

Paper 1 [For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)]
- UPTET Paper 1 will be for candidates who want to take be a teacher at the primary level (class 1 to 5).
- Paper 1 will have 150 MCQs equally distributed in five sections, each section will have 30 MCQs.
- Each question carries 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.
- The total time duration will be 2:30 hours [150 minutes].

- UPTET Paper 2 will be for those aspirants who wish to take a teaching job at the upper primary level (classes 6 to 8).
- Paper 2 will also have 150 MCQs distributed in four sections.
- Each MCQ will be of 1 mark and there will be no negative marking.
- The total time duration will be 2:30 hours [150 minutes].

UPTET 2022 Marking Scheme [Common for Paper 1 & Paper 2]
- Types of questions – Multiple Choice Questions
- Questions in each paper – 150
- Each MCQ will be of 1 mark and no marks deduction for incorrect MCQ
- Each paper will be for 150 marks
- There is no negative marking
UPTET 2022 Qualifying Process
- Candidate must secure minimum qualifying marks to qualify in the UP TET exam
- UPTET Eligibility Certificate with a validity of 5 years will be issued by District Education Board to those candidates who will secure at least 60% or above marks [55% for reserved category] in UPTET 2022 exam
- UPTET 2022 exam qualified candidates can get UPTET Eligibility Certificate after showing their admit card as well as any valid ID proof in the office of the District Education Board
- After obtaining UPTET Eligibility Certificate, aspirants can use it in affiliated Government schools to get a job which will be given on the basis of the order of merit
- Candidate obtaining TET Certificate can only appear in any teacher recruitment exam conducted by UP Government
- Candidates can reappear in the subsequent TET exam to improve their scores.
