Kerala TET Eligibility Criteria 2021
The candidates should fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan for the Kerala TET 2021. The applications of the candidates, who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, will be promptly rejected. Below are the qualifications that every willing candidate should possess in order to become eligible for Kerala TET 2021.
Nationality
In order to apply for the Kerala TET 2021, the candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit
Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has set no age limit for the candidates to apply for Kerala TET 2021. Any candidate who is an Indian citizen and has the below mentioned educational qualification will be able to apply for KTET 2021.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification required to apply for the Kerala TET 2021 varies according to the paper that the candidates are going to select. There will be four papers or categories and the minimum educational qualification to apply for each category is as mentioned here.
Category I – Lower Primary Teacher
Candidates should have completed class 12th or equivalent with at least 45% marks and have 2 year Trained Teachers’ Certificate or 2 year diploma in Elementary Education.

They must have completed class 12th or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and have 4 year Bachelors of Elementary Education degree or 2 year diploma in Special Education
Category II – Upper Primary Teacher
They should have a BA/B.Sc./B.Com degree and 2 year diploma in Elementary Education or 2 year Trained Teachers’ Certificate
OR
Have BA/B.Sc./B.Com degree with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelors of Education degree
OR
Have completed class 12th or equivalent with 50% marks and have 4 year Bachelors of Elementary Education
OR
The candidate must have completed class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% marks and have 4 year BA/B.Sc. or Education degree
Category III – High School Teacher
Should have BA/B.Sc./B.Com degree with 45% marks and Bachelors of Education Degree
OR
Have M.Sc. Ed. in Math, physics, chemistry, botany & zoology with 50% marks
OR
For Zoology & Botany, the candidate must have M.Sc. Ed. in Life Science with a minimum of 50% marks
Category IV – Language Teacher
The candidates applying for Paper IV should have educational qualifications according to Chapter 31 of the Kerala Education Act
Relaxation In Marks
The candidates who belong to the OBC/ST/SC category and People with disabilities will get 5% relaxation in the minimum marks required in their educational qualifications.

Kerala TET 2021 online application form is made available on the Kerala TET website on 28 April 2021. The candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to apply for Kerala TET 2021 by filling the online application form till 23 May 2021. Kerala TET Application Fee 2021
The candidates have to make a payment of Rs. 500/- as the Kerala TET 2021 application fee to fill the online application form. The candidates who belong to the ST/SC and PwD category will only have to pay Rs. 250/- to fill the KTET 2021 application form. The payment of the KTET 2021 application fee can be made through Net Banking, Debit card, Credit card, or bank challan.

Documents Needed For KTET 2021
The candidates will need the following documents to apply for the Kerala TET 2021. Without these documents, they will not be able to complete the online application process.
- Scanned copy of Photograph which will be 20-30 KB in size with dimension of 200 pixels height 150 pixels width in jpeg format

KTET Exam Pattern 2021
- Kerala TET 2021 exam will be conducted in offline mode. There will be four papers for four different levels and candidates will be able to choose the paper they want to appear for.
- All these papers will contain 150 multiple choice objective questions for 150 marks.
- The candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer and no marks will be deducted for the incorrect answer, hence no negative marking.
- The candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to answer all the questions.
- Kerala TET 2021 Papers will be divided into multiple sections based on the subjects.

KTET Admit Card 2021
Kerala TET admit card 2021 will be released two weeks before the examination. The candidates will require their Application Id and Application number to download their KTET 2021 admit card from the Kerala TET website. The candidates should know that they must download their admit card from the Kerala TET website because no offline copy will be provided to them by the KTET through post/mail or by any other means.

Kerala TET Result 2021
Kerala TET result 2021 will be released most probably in the month of September 2021. The candidates will be able to download their results from the Kerala TET website by using their roll number and password. The result will contain the name of the candidate, the total marks obtained by the candidate, the minimum qualifying marks, etc.
Kerala TET Cut Off 2021
Kerala TET cut off 2021 will be published on the Kerala TET website along with the KTET 2021 Result. In order to qualify the Kerala TET 2021 exam, candidates will have to score more or equal marks to the cut off. KTET Document Verification
The candidates who qualify the Kerala TET 2021 examination will have to appear before the District Educational Officer with their original documents, in order to get them verified. The candidates who successfully get their documents verified will be issued the Kerala TET qualifying certificate.
KTET Certificate Validity
The Kerala TET qualifying certificate comes with a validity of a lifetime. Candidates will be able to use their KTET Certificate to apply for teaching jobs in the schools of Kerala State. Kerala TET certificate of a candidate is necessary to apply for a teaching job.
