LIC ADO Syllabus 2021 : LIC ADO Exam Pattern is released by the Life Insurance Corporation of India along with LIC ADO Syllabus in the official notification. LIC ADO selection process encompasses an online written exam followed by an Interview. The online test will consist of multiple choice questions. LIC ADO exam pattern and syllabus will be decided and notified by LIC for the ADO test conducted for the recruitment of Apprentice Development Officers.
The online prelim test will be conducted tentatively on 6th & 13th July 2021 and the main exam will be held on 10th August 2021 and practice is the key to prepare for this test, such that candidates can complete the test within the composite allotted time of two hours.

- In brief, the online test for LIC ADO recruitment for the open market category will be conducted in two phases namely prelim and main exam.
- For employees of LIC and agents, the main exam will be held directly, i.e., the online exam will be held in a single phase.
The online test will have different sections and candidates will have to pass in each section separately by securing the minimum prescribed sectional cut off and they should also secure the minimum aggregate marks stated by LIC to qualify for the main exam/ interview. The test will have a negative mark for wrong answers.

LIC ADO Exam Date
LIC ADO 2021 online prelim recruitment test will be conducted on 6th & 13th July 2021 and the main exam will be held on 10th August 2021.
Selection Process
LIC ADO selection process comprises of the online test. For the open market category, an online test will be held in two phases, prelim, and main exam. For agents and employees of LIC, only the main exam will be held followed by an interview. Candidates shortlisted from this test will have to get through the interview for the final placement as Apprentice Development Officers with the Life Insurance Corporation.
The online test will be conducted as a multiple choice test and the pattern varies according to the category. In addition to securing the overall minimum score specified by the LIC as the cut-off, candidates should also secure the minimum marks specified by the corporation in each of the sections in the online test. The final marks will be arrived at by the LIC for the online test after deducting marks for wrong answers given by a candidate.
Candidates shortlisted from the online test in this manner will have to attend the interview. Finally, candidates will be ranked in the order of the aggregate marks in the online test and the interview. The final selection of candidates from among them will be made by the LIC in the order of their merit on the basis of the proposed number of ADOs to be recruited by LIC.
Candidates selected based on their performance in the online test and interview will be placed only if they are found medically fit. The fitness should be certified by the Medical Examination authorized by the Life Insurance Corporation for this purpose.

Pre-Exam Training
The ADO recruitment test is conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation as an online test. For SC/ST Candidates, LIC provides the opportunity to participate in the pre-examination training and they have the option to register for this training when they apply for the recruitment.
