Candidates who want to be eligible for teaching jobs in the state of Odisha can appear for Odisha TET exam 2019. Online portal for registration and submission of application for OTET 2019 has been opened on 15th July 2019. Applications must be submitted through online mode only on visiting the website of BSE, Odisha before the last date of registration 26th July 2019 till 5 pm. OTET Eligibility 2019
Candidates who want to apply for Odisha TET 2019 must have the following minimum educational qualifications.
Category A
- Higher Secondary / Class 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks and D.El.Ed. of 2-year duration OR
- Higher Secondary / Class 12th or its equivalent with 45% marks and D.El.Ed. of 2-year duration (as per NCTE Regulations 2002) OR
- Higher Secondary / Class 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks and B.El.Ed. of 4-year duration OR
- Higher Secondary / Class 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks and D.El.Ed. (Special Education) of 2-year duration OR
- Graduation and D.El.Ed. of 2-year duration OR
Note – Candidates having Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. can also apply for OTET 2019 Category A. However, after appointment as primary teacher such candidates will have to undergo a bridge course in Elementary Education of 6 months duration.
Category B
- Graduation and D.El.Ed. of 2-year duration OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. of 1-year duration OR
- Graduation with 45% marks and B.Ed. of 1-year duration (as per NCTE Regulations) OR
- Higher Secondary / Class 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks and B.El.Ed. of 4-year duration OR
- Higher Secondary / Class 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks and A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. or B.A./ B.Sc, Ed. of 4-year duration OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) of 1-year duration
Note
- Relaxation of 5% minimum qualifying marks will be given to candidates belonging to PWD, SEBC, ST & SC categories in any level (Higher Secondary or Graduation)
- Candidates having qualification B.Ed. / D.Ed. in Special Education can also apply for OTET 2019. However, after appointment as primary teacher such candidates will have to undergo a bridge course in Elementary Education of 6 months’ duration
- Candidates in final year of their teacher education courses can also apply for OTET 2019.

OTET 2019 registration and submission of application form can be done on visiting the website @www.bseodisha.nic.in from 15th July 2019 onwards. The last date for submission of application is 26th July 2019 till 5 pm. Applications submitted in offline mode shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

Registration
- Open the website www.bseodisha.nic.in
- You will see a login screen
- To register, find and click on ‘Click Here for New Registration’ link
- A registration page for OTET 2019 will open up
- Enter your name
- Enter password of your choice
- Re-enter the password
- Enter your mobile number and email ID
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- Instantly, you will receive a verification code on your registered email ID
Fill In Application Form
- Once again, open login page on website @bseodisha.ac.in
- Enter your email ID and password
- Enter and submit the verification code
- Again, you will see login page
- Login again by entering your email ID & password
- On login, you will see ‘Personal Information’ page
- Enter and submit all your ‘Personal Information’ then go to next page that will be ‘Eligibility Criteria’
- After going through ‘Eligibility Criteria’ page, enter and submit your ‘Educational Qualification’ and ‘Address’
- If you want to update any information entered by you then go back and make changes otherwise click the section ‘Information Sheet’
- A sheet having all the information entered by you along with your photograph will be displayed on the screen
- Print ‘Information Sheet’ and cross-check all the information
- If you still want to make some corrections then login into your account and make corrections otherwise click on ‘Next Payment & Declaration’ button
- Make payment online either through Net Banking or ATM card
- Payment can be made offline as well by paying cash through bank challan
- After 12 hours of payment, revisit the website, login again then enter the DU Reference Number in order to get confirmation from the server
- Once your payment is confirmed / authenticated, you can take a print out of the ‘Acknowledgement Receipt’
- ‘Acknowledgement Receipt’ should be printed by the candidates for future reference; without the same, candidates will not be eligible to appear for the examination
Note – Candidates who want to appear for both Paper I & Paper II will have to fill and submit separate application forms.
Fees
Candidates who will be applying for OTET 2019 should have to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- only towards fees. However, SC & ST candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs. 300/- only towards the same. the last date to submit online fee is 29th July 2019 till 4 pm.
Note – Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Odisha TET Exam Date
Odisha TET exam will be conducted in coming months that will be notified in due course. Odisha TET exam date will be declared on the official website.
Odisha TET 2019 Exam Pattern
Odisha TET 2019 will include two papers- Paper I & Paper II. Paper I will be conducted for those candidates who want to be eligible for teaching in classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 will be conducted for those who want to be eligible for teaching in classes 6 to 8. Each paper will be of 2½ hours’ time duration and have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), each of 1 mark. There shall be no negative marking. The MCQs in non-language subject in OTET shall be in Odia and English. For Language I subject, a candidate has to select any one of the following languages- Bengali, Urdu, Telugu, Hindi and Odia. Language-II subject shall be English for all candidates.

OTET Admit Card 2019
The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSEO) will release OTET admit card in online mode in coming months. Candidates who successfully apply for OTET 2019 exam will be able to download their OTET admit card after visiting the official website www.bseodisha.nic.in.
How To Download OTET Admit Card 2019?
- Open the official website
- Open login screen of OTET 2019
- Enter your registration ID and email ID
- Click on ‘Submit’ button
- OTET admit card will appear on the screen
- Download / print it
OTET Answer Keys 2019
Once the OTET 2019 exam will be over, scoring keys and OMR answer sheets will be uploaded in the website @www.bseodisha.ac.in. Candidates can submit objections if any within the period specified by the Board.

OTET Result will be announced in the online mode few weeks after the OTET exam is conducted. Candidates can check their OTET 2019 result through the website of BSE, Odisha by following the below-given steps

Odisha TET Qualifying Marks 2019
Those candidates who score 60% or more in OTET will be considered as OTET pass. However, candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped, SEBC/ OBC, SC, ST category if score 50% or more then they will be also considered as OTET pass.
