TNUSRB SI 2021 Recruitment [Notification, Apply Online, Application Form] : Tamil Nadu Sub Inspector (TK, AR, and TSP) Notification 2021 will be released in the coming months to invite online applications for the recruitment of eligible Men, Women, and Transgender candidates for the position of SI (Taluk, Armed Reserve, Tamil Nadu Special Police).
TNUSRB SI apply online process will commence soon and the last date of submission of the online application form will be notified.
TN SI Written exam for open candidates and 20% departmental candidates will be held at several examination centers across the state of Tamil Nadu on the date to be announced by TNUSRB. The Member Secretary of Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has released a TN SI notification & information brochure for the same.
With the release of advertisement, the board will accept online applications from eligible Men, Women, and Transgender candidates. Interested candidates are recommended to submit an online application through the website @ tnusrbonline.org.

- Written Test for departmental quota will be held separately. Candidates belonging to the department quota can apply under both general and departmental quotas as per the eligibility prescribed

STM preference: During provisional allotment, 20% of vacancies will be separated on a preferential basis for open category candidates who studied a degree in Tamil Medium.

TNUSRB SI 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Age limit & Relaxation
As on 1st of July 2021, the candidate should be aged 20 years or above but not have completed the age of 28 years. But relaxation in upper age limit will be given to candidates belonging to certain communities as follows:

Educational Qualification
Applicants must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from a University/ Institution recognized by UGC/ Government in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/ 10+3+3 pattern in case of diploma courses. Candidates who have obtained a degree from open universities/ distance education/ college after studying education of SSLC and ITI in 10+3+2 pattern are eligible to apply.
A person who obtained a degree from open Universities without going through the 10+2+3 pattern is not eligible to apply.

In addition to the above educational qualifications, applicants should have studied Tamil as a subject in either class XII or X. Candidates who will be selected for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police but do not have this qualification are required to appear & pass the Tamil-Part II Test conducted by TNPSC within 2 years after joining.
TNUSRB SI Examination Fee
All the applicants will have to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- towards examination fee. If departmental candidates apply both under Departmental and General quota, he/she has to pay a fee of 1000/-.
Mode Of Payment
1. Online Payment
Applicants can pay their examination fees online using any option such as a Debit card or UPI or Credit card or Net banking. Applicants can check their payment status in their dashboard within 24 hours. Those candidates who want to submit the examination fee online are requested to submit the application and make payment as soon as possible before the last date to avoid last-minute congestion & failures.
2. Challan Payment
Applicants can also make payments by submitting cash at any of the SBI bank branches. For payment of examination fee in cash, applicants will have to select ‘Cash’ mode while going through the payment module at the time of attempting the online application. On doing this, an applicant will get an auto-generated SBI’s Challan with 6 days validity. Within six days, a candidate will have to submit this auto-generated SBI’s Challan along with cash at any nearest SBI bank branch.

Registration
- Open the official website of Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board {TNUSRB}
- On the homepage, you will see the ‘Ongoing Recruitments’ section
- Find Recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector of Police (TK, AR, TSP) – 2021
- Find and click on tab ‘ Application Form’; it is available under section ‘Ongoing Recruitments’
- A new page will be opened having a login form; it is for old users;
- If you are an old user then enter your ‘User ID’ & ‘Password’
- Click on the ‘Login’ tab
- Fill the application form by following the rest instructions
- But if you are a new user then click the link ‘Create New User’; it is available under the login form

TNUSRB SI Syllabus 2021 & Exam Pattern Of Written Examination
Open Quota Candidates
There will be a written examination consist of objective questions for 70 marks for a duration of 2 1/2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks shall be 25. The question paper will have 140 multiple choice questions, each MCQ will be of ½ mark and the paper have the following subjects.
- Part A – General Knowledge (80 Questions for 40 marks)
- Part B – Numerical Analysis, Logical Analysis, Communication Skills, Psychology Test, Information Handling Ability (60 Questions for 30 marks)
Departmental candidates
Written examination consisting of objective questions for 85 marks. Minimum qualifying marks shall be 30 for departmental candidates. The duration of the written exam will be of 3 hours. Each question will have a 1/2 mark.
Part – A – General Knowledge (30 Questions for 15 Marks)
Part – B – Numerical skills, Communication skills, Information handling ability, Logical Analysis, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Police Standing Orders and Police Administration, Indian Evidence Act. (140 Questions for 70 Marks)
Note:
- Only candidates 5 times equal to the vacancies are selected for the next round of the selection process i.e., PMT, ET, and PET.
- Departmental candidates are exempted from PMT and PET. ET/Endurance test is of qualifying in nature.

Note:
- Men/ Women/ Transgender Candidates should get a minimum of 1 star in each event conducted for PET, otherwise, they are deemed disqualified in PET.
- Candidates may get a minimum of 3 stars and a maximum of 6 stars (equal to 15 marks).
- Ex-Servicemen who are going to retire in 1 year must attend PET and qualify in all the events.

After qualifying PMT, open candidates will be eligible to appear for verification of original certificates. 20% of departmental quota candidates also will be called for original certificate verification. A candidate who is called for certificate verification will have to present original documents/certificates which s/he had used at the time of submitting an online application are as follows.

Open candidates who will be qualified in all the previous stages of examination such as Written-test, PMT, ET, PET, Certificate Verification shall be called in the ratio of 1:2 for Viva-Voce to be conducted at TNUSRB headquarters. Viva-voce will be of 10 marks.
Departmental candidates who qualified in Written Test, ET, Certificate Verification shall be called in the ratio of 1:2 for Viva-Voce for 10 marks.
Special marks for NCC/NSS/Sports/Games of open candidates (Maximum 5 marks)
- NCC – Maximum 2 marks
- NSS – Maximum 1 mark
- Sports/ Games – Maximum 2 marks
Departmental candidates (Maximum 5 marks): (Not eligible under NCC/NSS/Sports/Games quota )

Provisional Select List
TNUSRB will prepare a merit list of selected candidates based on the marks obtained in Written Test, PET, Viva Voce, and Special marks if applicable subject to the availability of vacancies community wise and total vacancies.
20% of total vacancies will be for candidates who studied Degree in Tamil Medium. 20% of departmental recruits are not eligible for this quota.
20% of departmental recruits will be placed above the open quota recruits in the same recruitment.
Resolving Tie
In case marks scored by the candidates is the same, the following order of preference will be followed to resolve a tie.
- Seniority in Age
- Outstanding Scout, who received a medal from President of India
Medical Examination
Before final employment on the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Technical), selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination.
TNUSRB SI Hall Ticket 2021
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board will release and issue admit cards for written or CBT through the website @www.tnusrbonline.org. To download admit card, a candidate has to follow a few steps as follows:

TNUSRB SI Answer key
After conducting stage 1 examination that will be either a written or CBT, the Board will publish the Tamil Nadu SI answer key on its website. Candidates can visit the official website after the exam to download the answer key.
TNUSRB SI Results 2021
The Board will announce and publish results of written or CBT, PMT and then conduct document verification & Viva-Voce. The final result will be published after completing all the stages of the examination. However, the exact dates of result announcements are not been announced.

TNUSRB SI Cut Off
Tamil Nadu SI cut off 2021 of Written Test and Final Cut off will be decided by the TNUSRB category and Quota wise. However minimum qualifying marks should be secured by the candidates in the written test (25 for Open Quota and 30 for Departmental Quota). TNUSRB Cut Off of written exam and Final cut off will be published on the official website of TNUSRB.
