IBPS RRB 2021 [Apply Online, Application Form, Exam Date] : IBPS RRB Notification 2021 has been released on 7 June 2021 for the common recruitment process of Group ‘A’- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group ‘B’- Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks. Eligible candidates are required to apply online @www.ibps.in from 8th June 2021 and the last date of online registration is 28th June 2021.

IBPS RRB 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for the IBPS RRB 2021 must ensure that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria.
Nationality / Citizenship
An applicant should be either,
- Indian citizen (or)
- A subject of Bhutan (or)
- A subject of Nepal (or)
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 Jan 1962 for permanently settling in India (or)
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Zambia, Malawi, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Uganda East African countries of Kenya, etc. for permanently settling in India.
Note – Applicants other than Indian citizens will have to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Part 1 Registration
- Open IBPS official website
- Now find and click on the link ‘Click here to apply online for CRP-RRBs Recruitment of Officers (Scale I, II & III) & Office Assistant (Multipurpose)’
- You will see a new page having different links to apply for different posts
- Click on the respective link of the post for which you want to apply
- You will see a new page having post details and link to apply online
- On the same, you will have to find and click on the link ‘Click here for New Registration’
- You will see a new page having an online registration form
- Enter your basic details such as first name, middle name, last name, mobile no., email ID, etc
- Now, type the security code in the given box
- Click on the ‘Save & Next’ tab
- Instantly you will receive a text message having your IBPS CRP RRB IX Provisional Registration No. and password
- Proceed to part 2 of the online application
Part 2 Upload Of Documents
- Now, upload digital files of your latest color photograph and signature
- Then upload scanned files of your left thumb impression and handwritten declaration
- Before clicking on the next tab make sure all your uploaded files are as per the specifications prescribed by IBPS
- After confirming the specifications of uploaded files, now click on tab ‘Next’ to proceed further
Part 3 Fill in Additional Details
- Enter your additional basic details such as category, sub-caste, nationality, etc.
- Enter your parents’ names (father’s / mother’s name) then type your permanent & correspondence address
- Enter your educational details, work experience, etc.
- Provide your preferences of participating banks/organizations
- Read and accept the statement of declaration
- Preview your application and make changes, if required
- Validate all the details then click on tab ‘Final Submit’
Part 4 Payment Of Application Fees
- Select any payment option to pay the application fees

Part 5 Confirmation & Printing Of Application

Documents Needed To Apply
Candidates who wish to apply online for IBPS RRB 2021 must keep the following documents/things ready
- Scanned files of candidate’s signature, latest photograph, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration (text is given below)
- Valid personal email ID and mobile number
- Necessary documents/details to make online payment
Guidelines For Scanning Documents
- Photograph – Should be the latest passport size color photo having a size – 4.5cm × 3.5cm and dimensions- 200 x 230 pixels. Size after scanning the candidate’s photo should be between 20 kb – 50 kb. The digital file should be in JPEG or JPG format.
- Signature – A scanned signature will be used to place on the call letter and wherever required therefore must be taken on white paper using a black ink pen. Signature in capital alphabets/letters will not be accepted. Preferred dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels and the size after scanning the candidate’s sign should be between 10 kb – 20 kb. The digital file should be in JPEG or JPG format.
- Left thumb impression- Should be taken by the candidate on white paper using blue or black ink. Preferred dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels and the size after scanning the candidate’s sign should be between 10 kb – 20 kb. The digital file should be in JPEG or JPG format.
- A handwritten declaration – Applicant will have to write the following statement of declaration in English – ‘I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.’ After writing it clearly on white paper using black ink now scan it and keep the size of the scanned file between 20 kb – 50 kb
IBPS RRB 2021 Application Fee
To apply for Officer (Scale I, II & III) (or) Office Assistant (Multipurpose), all the candidates should have to pay a fee of Rs. 850/- as their application fee including intimation charges. However, the application fee for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates will be Rs. 175/-.

IBPS RRB Clerk/ Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), first, there will be a preliminary examination. Candidates qualified in the prelim exam will be further called for the main examination.
Preliminary Exam Structure (Duration – Composite Time Of 45 Minutes)
- IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelim exam will be held online for a composite duration of 45 minutes.
- There will be two tests and each has 40 questions for 40 marks. The total questions will be 80 for 80 marks.
- Each test should be qualified by securing minimum marks along with securing the overall cut-off to qualify the preliminary exam.
- The preliminary exam is of qualifying nature, there will be negative marking of 1/4th marks allotted to the question for each wrong attempt.

For the post of Officer Scale-I, there will be a preliminary examination then the main examination for candidates shortlisted in the preliminary exam, and in the end, candidates shortlisted in the main examination will be called for a common interview.

For the post of Group ‘A’ – Officers (Generalist and Specialists) Scale II & Scale III, there will be a single online test having objective type questions. Candidates shortlisted in the single examination will be further called for a common interview.
- For Group ‘A’ – Officers (Generalist and Specialists) Scale II & Scale III posts, there will be sectional cut off and the candidates must score minimum marks in each test. Along with that, they should score overall cut off marks decided by IBPS to qualify for the Interview.

IBPS RRB 2021 Selection Procedure
- For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the final selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination.
- For the post of Officers Scale I, the final selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of marks scored in the main examination as well as an interview.
- For the post of Officers Scale II (Generalist & Specialist) & Scale III, the final selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of marks scored in the single level examination and interview.
IBPS RRB Exam Date
- IBPS RRB Officer Scale I prelim exam will be held on 1,7,8,14,15th August 2021 and the Main exam will be held on 25 Sep 2021.
- IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II and III single stage exam will be held on 25 Sep 2021.
- IBPS RRB Office Assistant prelim exam will be held on 1,7,8,14,15th August 2021 and the Main exam will be held on 3 Oct 2021.
Pre Exam Training (PET)
PET will be arranged by RRBs for SC/ STs/ Minorities/ Ex-servicemen/ PwD for assistant posts and for SC/ STs/ Minorities/ PWD for the post of officers at the selected centers. Candidates have to fill the column in an online application for pre-exam training. Call Letter is to be downloaded to attend the training, and the expenses related to traveling, boarding, and lodging will be borne by the candidate.
IBPS RRB 2021 Call Letters
IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Officer call letters will be released a few days before each stage of the exam. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will issue a separate call letter for each stage of examination including Preliminary, Main & Interview.
To obtain a call letter, candidates need to visit the IBPS website and download their call letters by entering Registration/ Roll No. and Date of Birth/ Password. The process to download the call letter is given below:

Biometric Capturing and Verification
Biometric data will be captured before and after the end of the main/ single-stage exam along with the Interview and also at the time of joining. Right thumb impression or otherwise and photograph will be captured for verification purposes.
IBPS CRP RRB 2021 Result
IBPS RRB Officer and Office Assistant Result (Prelim / Main/Single level/Interview) will be released by IBPS on its official website. To check the IBPS RRB result, a candidate has to follow a few below given simple steps:

IBPS RRB 2021 Interview
Interviews will be held for the post of Officers Scale I, II, III. Candidates shortlisted in the main exam for the post of scale I and single exam for Scale II and III will be called for an Interview conducted by one of the participating RRB.
- Interviews will be conducted at selected centers, and the candidates are required to carry a call letter to attend the Interview.
- There will be 100 marks for IBPS RRB Interview. The minimum qualifying marks will be as per extant guidelines.
- The relative weightage of written exam and Interview will be in the ratio of 80:20.
